M Nail & Lash- Nail Salon Plano Tx

I decided to stop by M Spa & Beauty as a walk-in one evening, and I’m honestly so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming and made me feel comfortable. The staff is genuinely fun to be around. They actually talk with you, laugh with you, and make the whole experience feel relaxed instead of just trying to get you in and out. It never felt awkward, and the time honestly flew by because of how easy they were to talk to. They also do amazing work. They’re very precise and pay attention to every little detail. There was a small mix-up with the type of nail polish I wanted, but they fixed it right away without any hesitation and made sure I was happy before I left. That level of customer service really stood out to me, and it’s one of the biggest reasons I’ll be coming back. I went later in the evening, so there was a smaller staff working at that time. Even so, I never felt overlooked. They made sure I was taken care of and never made me feel like they were rushing through my appointment. I can’t speak for how busy they are during the day, but my experience was definitely worth the visit. Overall, I had a great experience. Great conversations, excellent customer service, and beautiful, detailed work. If you’re looking for a place that genuinely cares about its customers, I definitely recommend giving M Spa & Beauty a try!

I am never going back and if you do go PLEASE stay away from the nail tech I went to! Whole experience was poor, I called ahead to schedule a 9pm appointment well in advance and when I got there I waited for 10 minutes before anyone checked me in and my nail tech didn't grab me until another 20 minutes. Meanwhile two walk ins before me got started on their services. I was never offered a drink, though everyone around me had something. When the male tech finally sat me my chair he immediately assumed I wanted a French tip for some reason and then got annoyed when I asked for something different. I showed him my design and then after applying the acrylic he DISAPPEARED for 15 minutes without saying anything to the point I thought he was not coming back. I asked another worker where he was and all he did was held his stomach and said he was in the bathroom... once he came back I showed him the design again, he started shaping (leaving all of my nails crooked and not the shape I requested) then the moment he supposedly shaped he said "we're about to be done" BEFORE a drop of paint even went on my nails. *red flag* He started painting and my nails a solid color and I had to gently remind him what the designs looked like so instead of removing the polish properly he just wiped it off with a paper towel to where you could still see the blue that he initially put there. I kept quiet throughout the appointment but after ONE coat of paint and a design that legitimately looked like a child drew it and reminding him a couple of times what the picture looked like he said he said he was done. I asked him to just do a solid color on all of the nails instead as the design was so horrible and quite honestly stress inducing. I told him (very politely) that I didn't like them before he put the top coat on and just asked for him to fix the shape of the one nail that was going in the completely different direction and for a solid color instead. Mind you, I didn't take a picture of the "finished product" because I didn't want him to think I was being funny but I really should have to show proof of how unprofessional they looked. After filing off what he painted he had me wash my hands and then disappeared AGAIN for over 30 minutes without saying a word! Someone finally came over to check on me to see if I wanted to finish waiting or for them to do them? I asked her to finish them and she reshaped every single nail that he did. In the course of her doing three coats I got nail polish all over my hands somehow that was never cleaned off, inadvertently getting paint on my dress from the giant glob of paint on the palm of my left hand that I unaware of (I'm right handed so it's not like I bumped anything). My hands were blue for days after scrubbing and now my finger is irritated from the pressure that was applied to it and the initial overfiling the first nail tech did. I've NEVER asked someone to undo a design and never left a bad review for a nail salon but this was a horrible experience all the way through. Ended up leaving having to pay $80 for a FILL and jacked up nails which were nothing like what I asked for, I'm so disgusted and do not remember the guy's name but he has gel nails and a triangle beard and is rude! I came for a 9pm appointment and did not get out until 11:40pm. PLEASE STAY AWAY! Photo reference of the design I wanted as I chose it because it was cute and not too intricate in my opinion... didn't even want the rhinestones or the sweater design, I just liked the blue and the hearts. (Shape was supposed to be in between almond and stiletto)

I love everyone over there! Shirley has been doing my nails for 10 plus years! They are the best! Her sister and family are wonderful! Whatever you want done they can do it and your going to love it 💜🩷🩵 …

The person that did my nails asked me if he was using the right products for GEL X .. like aren’t you the expert? He chose to wide and large nail extensions for my fingers . It feels like they are digging into the side of my nails . They also did not push them all the way down to my cuticle. Looks like they have already been grown out for a few days . I hate how wide they are they are so uncomfortable. I sat there for 2 and a half hours for this . When I asked for a glass of wine I was brought a dirty glass , it looked like there was still lip gloss left over from the person that used the glass last . DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE ESPECIALLY NOT FOR GEL X . I kept asking for the pinky to be shorter bc it’s obviously longer than the one next to it . I am so disappointed I will never come back to this location . Really upset the nails are too wide for my natural nails . Terrible experience.

I’ve been coming to M Nail and Spa for years and am never disappointed! The service is amazing, the music is always on point, and they stay open late! Not to mention they make a tasty cocktail! 💅🏾🥂
