Medical Clinic - Dr. Nguyen Tran & Associates, P.A.

My wife released from emergency intensive care. I called to set up an appointment to follow up. His wife as a medical assistant refuses my request and told us to come back to hospital…. I then had to visit a private doctor and paid from my own pocket. I was so pissed and change to another family doctor…

I wrote a review recently, but it was taken down. I guess my review was too plain honest. My mom went here to a get a blood test done. We literally visited this place 3 times. The first two times we had to get our insurance corrected. We finally got it done and made an appointment, then. We came in for the testing. The receptionist/doctor gave us so much attitude. She was like did you make an appointment. My mom definitely did. The doctor opens her SPIRAL NOTEBOOK... in this notebook, she had patient names, their insurance number and appointment date. What kind of outdated practice is this? She also had to scan our past medical documents, which I don't plain understand why. She can easily request them from our previous doctor. She literally said, "If you like your other doctor, why don't you go back". That is an awful remark to say. We left and got our insurance redone for the previous doctor. We are not going to sacrifice customer service for convenience.

Didn't even get to see the doctor! I called back in August to try and get my dad in for a first time visit. When I called they asked if I was SURE that doctor Nguyen was his primary. I told them that is what was on my dad's Medicare card, so they asked me to email a copy of the card and they would get back with me. Well a week goes by and I've heard nothing, so I call them back. They say that they are waiting on the lady that handles the insurance to get back with them. Several more weeks go by, I call and and call (sometimes I get a message that they are not taking calls, and no answering service). Finally in late October I get a call saying that he has been approved and the only appointment they have is all the way in December. Well December 11th, came and when we got there they told us that since we didn't call them to confirm the appointment 48 hours before, they cancelled it! Are you kidding me!!! I just drove all the way out to Garland to go with my dad to the appointment just for them to say they had cancelled it! They never told us to begin with that it was their policy for us to confirm 48 hours ahead! We are now looking for another doctor where the office staff is friendly and isnt incompetent. Wish us luck.

I don''t know what's happen with all the negative rating and most often it's the child of the patient who is appeared to NOT SHOW up with the patient and possible they don't know what is going on between the patient and the doctor. I am a long term patient for over 10 years One of the Nicest and cares Doctor in the area i know. for those who is not there, you don't know what is going on so don't assume what has happen. if you love your parent/grandparent so much then BE THERE WITH THEM whey they are being seen.

My favorite clinic I've went to. I'll recommend to everyone.
