Melby's Coffee & Tea House

Lately, I have been on a huge matcha kick, so I’ve been on the hunt for a local coffee shop that makes amazing iced matcha lattes and yall, I think I found THE one!! I ordered the iced mango cream matcha latte with coconut milk and I give it a 10/10!! The matcha was the perfect shade of green, the matcha to milk ratio was perfect, the cream added that extra delicious detail that married the entire drink together perfectly! And on top of that, it wasn’t overly sweet! Besides the drink, the staff was really nice and helpful - which I’m appreciative of since this was my first time in. The shop itself is so cute! The atmosphere and the decor is light and welcoming - I just love everything about this place. I’ll definitely be a regular! **Edit: I went back today (7/27) to try the iced strawberry matcha latte with coconut milk and sweet cream - another 10/10!!! This is T H E place for amazing drinks!

If you haven’t made the trip to Melby’s Coffee & Tea House on Denton Hwy, you’re missing out — and the Ube Crema Vietnamese Coffee alone is reason enough to go. Melby’s is a charming, cozy café that specializes in handcrafted beverages and delicious pastries, including scratch-made Italian macarons.  The moment you walk in, the vibe wraps around you — there are plants everywhere, and even when it’s crowded, it’s quiet enough to hold a conversation without raising your voice.  It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger. Now, about that Ube Crema Vietnamese Coffee. She’s purple, she’s bold, and she’s absolutely that drink.  The iced Vietnamese coffee topped with ube crema is a truly unique treat  — the bold, slightly sweet punch of the Vietnamese drip coffee underneath plays perfectly against the rich, velvety purple crema on top. It’s indulgent without being overwhelming, and visually stunning to boot. At around $10, it feels like a splurge, but it’s absolutely worth it. What sets Melby’s apart is their authenticity — they make their own syrups and rotate seasonal drinks , so there’s always something new to try. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot to study, get some work done, or hang out with friends.  The staff is wonderful, and the environment is calm and welcoming  — the kind of place where regulars feel at home and first-timers feel like they’ve discovered a secret. Customers visit at least twice a month because the service is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the drinks consistently impress.  Bottom line: Melby’s is one of those rare local coffee shops that earns every star. Go for the Ube Crema Viet Coffee. Stay for everything else.

Got the Ube Matcha and just based off the color I knew I was going to love it. And I sure did!!! Amazing flavor, just the right sweetness and the ube foam was soooo frothy and creamy. They had more matcha lattes and coffees I’m excited to try. Also their croissant and quiche were delicious too!!!

i've been coming to Melby's for sometime now and i LOVE it here! there's always something new to see and try at melby's! today, we tried a white chocolate mocha latte and a milk and honey latte! 10/10 plus: the ambiance is so nice. if you're looking for a place to sit back, relax and enjoy a good read, melby's is the perfect place to go!

Exceptional service, drinks and atmosphere. Plenty of seating inside and chill vibes all around with a ton of plants. The baristas are so kind. I have been back several times since I discovered Melbys. The Brown sugar matcha is amazing. Macarons are also very good.
