Little updates for May, On April 12, 2026, my husband delivered a check to the office in the amount of $1,695.00 based on an invoice provided by Nhung the CPA. After reviewing the invoice more carefully, I discovered that they included a $245.00 charge for personal tax filing services that I did not authorize or proceed with. At that point, I had already experienced ongoing concerns and disagreements regarding delays and handling of my business tax matters. Due to these issues, I decided to terminate the business relationship with them. I returned to the office on April 13, 2026 requesting the original check be returned so that corrected payment arrangements could be made. Nhung stated that Minh Hai may have already cashed the check and refused to return it. Nhung then informed me that Minh Hai would instead refund the remaining balance electronically through Zelle that night. The refund discussed included: - $245.00 for the personal tax filing charge that I did not authorize or use; and - $900.00 for accounting services I no longer wished to continue after terminating the relationship. I became occupied with business obligations and followed up again on April 28, 2026 regarding the promised refund. Nhung responded that the anh Hai had been informed. I then provided Zelle information as requested, but no refund was sent. I followed up again on May 1, 2026 and received no response. On May 5, 2026, I sent an email advising them that legal action would be pursued if the matter continued unresolved. On May 6, 2026, Nhung responded for the first time by attempting to add additional charges and stating that the refund amount would now be different from what had previously been agreed upon. On April 13th, when I came in with the new check, I never intended to terminate business with them. However, due to the continuous poor service from my CPA, I simply could no longer continue working with her. For Minh Hai to have been in business for so long and built such a strong reputation within the community, I truly believe he should pay closer attention to the people representing his company. I honestly miss when the office was across the street — the staff back then were much more professional, responsive, and reliable. I do not mind paying for services that were properly completed. What I cannot understand is being charged unreasonable fees without proper explanation. A full year of 1099 and W-2 filings was charged at $300, yet my first-quarter filing alone was also another $300. When I raised concerns and asked for clarification regarding these additional charges, I was ignored once again. As members of the same community, we should not take advantage of one another. A good reputation takes years to build, but situations like this can quickly damage the trust clients place in a business. I only ask for fairness, transparency, and professionalism. Avoid Minh Hai Financial Services at all costs. I submitted all of my salon’s tax documents quarterly since last year to make tax seasons smooth and stress free. There was ZERO excuse for delays. For months, the only thing I heard was “I’m working on it.” No updates. No timelines. No accountability. Just the same repeated line over and over. meanwhile, tax season is literally passing by and my taxes weren’t completed until THREE DAYS before the deadline. That is beyond unprofessional. That is careless. This is exactly the kind of service that creates unnecessary stress for business owners who are actually doing their part. I stayed organized proactive and ahead of everything and still got treated like an afterthought. If this is how they handle clients who do everything right, I can’t imagine how they handle everyone else. You had a full year! And still made it last minutes. That says everything. Take your business somewhere that actually values professionalism, communication and deadlines because this place clearly does not.

1 star for over charging their customer. I file my tax with minh hai for the passed 3 year and they charge $250-$300 for me and my wife W2 plus stocks investment. this year for filing 2025, they see I made more than previous year. they charge me $1070 for 2025 tax return and they want $500 deposits for next year filing. I am not paying a $500 deposits for near year filling. These people are at minh hai are a rip-off predatory business that have no ethic and treating their customer unfairly.

Mr. Quoc was the best accounting for me. He made sure I understood the process of getting my federal refund and paying back my state taxes. I highly recommend using Minh Hai for tax filing and insurance purposes. They are very professional and always give customers a positive feeling. Great customer service!

Terrible, just wanted an estimate on my returns, and they didn't even tell me at the beginning they have a text estimate fee of $100. After he gave me an estimate he then charged me $100. Never had anyone ever charge me a estimate fee. ATLEAST TELL ME AT THE BEGINNING before doing my paper work.

My last review was not posted by me and someone who picked up my phone and was malicious in their actions. I have posted in five star review for this company and I have deleted my negative review that was posted without my knowledge.
