My experience with this company was disappointing due to a lack of communication and organization. I completed the required training and had spoken with the company regarding my orientation. However, the orientation date was changed on June 29th, which affected my schedule and caused an inconvenience. I believe communication should be a two-way street, and there were opportunities on both ends for clearer expectations and follow-up. What stood out to me was feeling like my growth and future goals were not fully supported or respected. As someone who is preparing to enter the nursing profession soon, I value professionalism, respect, and effective communication. I’m grateful for every opportunity and believe everything happens for a reason. I wish the company the best, but I hope they improve their communication and how they handle situations with future employees.

Communication is always great, the caregivers are amazing, and the team is very adaptable to our needs. My experience with Nurse Next Door was disappointing. From the beginning of the onboarding process, I did not feel supported or valued as an applicant. Communication was inconsistent, and there seemed to be confusion about which onboarding requirements I had already completed. Despite communicating with my recruiter and completing the training I was instructed to do, I later received an email stating there had been a lack of communication on my part, which did not reflect my experience. As a nursing student graduating in a few months, I also felt that my school schedule was viewed more as an inconvenience than something the company wanted to support, even after orientation had been rescheduled around it. I hope the company improves its communication and treats future applicants with more understanding and professionalism throughout the hiring process.
