If you are incapable of adequate support and respect, unable to work in a professional manner, providing needed services... You are allowing veterans to experience working with no advice, & immature, disrespectful behavior. No case worker visit in over 6 months, a meeting with a supervisor requesting info who said next to nothing, no follow up calls/messages. 0 real actual support when needed.

I am always surprised when I hear veterans complain about the VA. They have been great to me, my NP always answers my calls and is very pro-active regarding my care. The urgent care where you can just walk in and see your primary care is a real blessing too. No need to go to the ER with that. I have many other good things to say about the VA but will stop here. I wonder if these complainers have tried private clinics where you get poor results at astronomical prices. If that is what you want, why bother with the VA?

Staff is courteous, helpful and attentive. Lobby has been clean and free of small creatures. Phones are promptly answered with respect. Therapists are attentive as are housing specialists and others. Restrooms are clean. Surprisingly refreshing.

When I first got to Oakland, this place seemed ok. After being hospitalized, my social worker (Joshua Orlans) refused to see me. I made numerous attempts at making appointments, but his silence made it painfully clear that his other patients (who probably were not recently hospitalized) were more important than me. I had to be hospitalized one more time before I decided that this place hated veterans and service members. On a side note, I went to Oakland weighing about 150 pounds. I lost somewhere between 10 and 15 pounds and Dr. Stoltzman didn't even bat an eye. It's like they wanted me to die. This place doesn't give a damn about vets and they're corrupt. Definitely the worst VA I have ever been to. Good riddance, you a**holes.

I was told to go in for a TB test. So I did, Nurse asked me to call my Dr. And asked him to send in a request for it. When I called my dr. They said that I could not talk to my dr over the phone to make request and to make an appointment to talk to him. So I did, the wait to see the doc. Was two months. My question was couldn't the nurse from the behavioral clinic habe requested the TB test her self and have gave it to me that one day??
