Onyx Nail Bar

First time visiting today and I likely won’t return. I hate my nails. I’m really not sure how you can mess up a simple short square French tip. Some nails look crooked. There is crust and glue and dried powder around the nail bed. I’m in a wedding this weekend and have no time to get them redone. Had to stop several times to ask for things to be corrected. Im not pleased at all.

WORST experience ever. I skipped on going to my regular salon in Prosper bc I was just wanting my builder gel taken off and nails cut down and manicured. Problems that arose: 1) woman cut me 2 times to where I bled. After the 3rd time that she lost control of the drill and chopped my fingernail off with it, staring over and over “sorry” I asked her to just remove the gel and that I wanted the service to be over and no manicure. 2) there was a very clear language barrier, my nail tech kept doing the manicure, and I couldn’t communicate to her that I was not interested in this service due to how bad her skills were. She did not cut my cuticles correctly or spend any time shaping adequately. She just kept going with the manicure. 3) When I went to the front desk, the woman working at the front desk, asked me for my credit card. I stated I would not be paying for anything other than the removal of the gel because I had asked my tech to stop and had suffered at least two cuts on my fingers that were actively bleeding. She became completely enraged and stated that I was wanting free services, asking me how much I was willing to pay, asking me why I didn’t speak up and why I wanted to just take advantage of them.I was disgusted with the attitude and despite her statements paid for the gel removal and left. I wasn’t unwilling to pay, however it’s not my problem that my tech couldn’t understand “no” and that her skills were sub par. I still have some of the builder gel on my nails, they are uneven and the cuts hurt. Be warned!
