I had my wedding reception here last weekend, and let me tell you Paracel was everything I was looking for in a venue and more! Matt: Matt is reason enough to book Paracel! On the day of, he was the DJ/MC. He was SO great, so engaging, detail oriented, so fun throughout the whole evening! So many of our friends and family members told us unsolicited how great he was! We gave him free reign with our playlist only as a starting guide, and he kept the vibes going! Not only was he great on the day of, but throughout the entire planning process he was so helpful and nice. We didn't have a coordinator, so he helped us plan a lot of the event. He even accommodated us when we happened to be in town for a quick visit, to answer some questions and help us nail down our signature drinks (aka he made us some specialty cocktails to taste and we loved them!). Definitely go with the open bar :). At every step of the way, he expressed excitement for our big day, was responsive for any questions we had, and made sure we felt taken care of. We really appreciate you Matt!! Food: We got so many compliments on the food! of course as the wedding couple, we didn't get a chance to eat much that night, but several of our guests did tell us how good it was. The few dishes we got to eat seemed to be even better than it was during the tasting! Also I love that they provide guests to go boxes so that the food doesn't go to waste. Our family and friends are still joking about how full they are from the wedding :P. Venue: they recently redid the outside of the building, and it looks really nice! Also the inside already looked so nice that we didn't feel like we needed much other decor. The day o,f they even had a beautiful flower wall at the entrance with a neon sign that said "happily ever after" which was such a pleasant surprise! this is family run business so they're willing to work with you and accommodate your needs. This meant we got to do really fun stuff like beer pong for one of our wedding games :). Also they were able to accommodate a next day clean up of our decor, so we could go out and party after and didn't need to worry about it that night. Staff: every interaction we had with the staff was so welcoming. They were all so nice, from the tasting, to the pre visit, day of wedding, and even on the day we came to clean up! A few of our friends also complimented the bartender for his mixology skills! Proximity to park & great food: It's so close to Mile Square Park which was a nice park for our pre-wedding photos. Also it's really close to Brodards and other great food options for appetizers or just other meals outside of the wedding. Overall, we had a great wedding and felt that it was such a great value for what we paid for. I highly recommend Paracel to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

My wife and I had our wedding in late December, catered by Paracel’s efficiently run family business. Matt and his team were a delight to work with the entire time. A year before our wedding, he set up a tasting for us, where we were treated to an intimate setting at the banquet hall, which included curated cocktails at no cost. We were pleased by the food and confirmed our booking for the big day. We also added on Matt’s personal presence as both our DJ and MC. As our wedding date neared, Matt worked closely with us to iron out the menu details and logistics of how we’d serve our 200 guests offsite. We also gave him our itinerary and ideas for announcements, intros, bridges, and essentially running the whole show. He was accommodating and took the care to fully understand our vibe, our theme and our goals for the night. As the night ended, we received compliments ad nauseum, from our guests verbatim: “Best wedding food I’ve ever had” “I was impressed when the first dishes came out and kept getting more and more hyped as additional amazing dishes kept coming.” “Portions were insane and we couldn’t finish it all” “Your DJ turned your wedding into a rave!” “Omg it feels like Illenium is right there!” “Wow his Vietnamese is really good, and he’s got a great announcer voice” Overall 10/10 would book again.

We had our dream wedding at Paracel Events and Catering -- truly the best experience ever. From start to finish, the team was incredibly communicative, professional, and so accommodating to our every need. The venue itself is beautiful and so well-organized, but what really made it special were the people. Our host and DJ, Matthew, was absolutely phenomenal -- he kept the energy up, the night flowing perfectly, and made everything feel personal and fun. The food was absolutely delicious, with so many of our guests raving about it even days after. Every detail was handled with care, and we felt genuinely supported throughout the whole process. If we could get married here every year, we would! Thank you, Paracel, for making our wedding unforgettable.

We recently attended a wedding food tasting, and while there were some good aspects, there’s definitely room for improvement. The soup was the highlight — flavorful and well-prepared — but the main courses didn’t quite hit the mark. The beef and lobsters were dry with not much added flavor. The shrimp felt a bit bland and could use less of Mayo to make it tasteful. The dessert option was just simply fresh fruit. Though there’s potential here, a bit more refinement in both the food and dessert would make a big difference.

We had this Chinese caterer for our wedding, and everything was absolutely incredible! Our guests are still talking about how good the food was. The garlic lobster noodles were insanely delicious — perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The filet mignon was so tender and juicy, and the duck meat with buns were unbelievably good. The presentation, flavors, and quality were all top-notch, and the team made everything run so smoothly on such an important day. We couldn’t have asked for better food or service. Matthew and his team did the most spectacular job. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for Chinese food at their wedding.
