Pho is always my first choice when going for a casual dinner. This one is delicious as usual and with a little of its own special flavor so it’s even better. Especially the meat ball, definitely try!! Also They are really generous on the beef in the pho, almost more than the rice noodle. For the service, the ladies here are so friendly and kind and hardworking. Great comfort food in this city and Great experience! Will come again!

The restaurant is located in the quiet old shopping mall. The curb appeal is not good and there were trash in the front of restaurant. But we have heard that their pho is the best so we decided to try it. The restaurant was very quiet. We tried some pho, stir fried steak and fried egg rolls. The meatball that came with Pho was very tasty. Pho was okay, but it was not best. The fried egg rolls were so good. We will come back just for that.

I tried the pho special and the egg rolls. The pho had a very flavorful broth and a good quality for the meat. The meal came with fresh garnish. The egg roll was very fresh and had a good dipping sauce. I would highly recommend coming here.

Amazing Vietnamese food! Pho was fantastic! Everything comes in big portion! Coffee was so good!

My wife went to Phở Băng on W Walnut St with her friend on December 6, 2025, and it turned into one of the most DISGUSTING restaurant experiences we’ve ever dealt with. While she was eating her pho, she suddenly noticed there was a bug in the soup. Not on the table, not on the floor – actually in the bowl she was eating from. She had already taken multiple bites at that point. She stopped immediately, and they took the bug out of the bowl and set it aside. The photos attached are from after the bug was removed from the pho – you can clearly see it sitting there. Just imagine realizing you’ve been eating around that. On top of that, there was another bug at the front counter where you pay. So in one visit, there was a bug in the food and a bug at the register. That doesn’t exactly scream “clean, well-maintained kitchen.” It honestly made both of us feel sick just thinking about how many issues there might be behind the scenes if this is what’s visible. What makes it even worse is how it was handled. Even after all this, they still charged for the friend’s soup, the eggrolls, and the drinks, as if this was just some minor inconvenience. Once there’s a bug floating in a bowl of soup someone is actively eating, the entire meal is ruined. You don’t trust the food anymore, you don’t feel safe eating anything else from that kitchen, and you definitely don’t feel good about paying for the rest of the meal. We will not be coming back here, and I strongly caution anyone thinking about eating at this place. Food with bugs in it, another bug at the front counter, and then still charging for the rest of the meal is beyond unacceptable and honestly just nasty.
