Skyline Nail Spa, Plano

I had a very concerning and unsafe experience with Vincent. When I politely asked him to fix my nails, he became aggressive, yelling, and even attempted to cut me with clippers. He refused to provide the owner’s contact information, giving only a name. The nails were also poorly done: the cuticle area looks like the powder is touching the skin, the nails feel thick near the base, and the shapes are uneven. I’ve attached photos so others can see exactly what I mean. I felt unsafe and had to call the Plano non-emergency line. Authorities are now involved and will be meeting me at my house. I do not recommend this person for any services. Safety is the priority. I tired to tell him The cuticle area had powder touching the skin (middle finger and 2 Others ) and I was hoping for a small clean gap there. The nails also very thick near the base, and a the shapes look VERY wide on the sides. Would you mind helping smooth them out and cleaning up the cuticle area a little more? Thank you! He immediately got defensive and started yelling. Other employees notice as well. Do not recommend and expect a call from owner.

I went in today to get Gel X and a pedicure for an upcoming wedding I'm in. I'm extremely disappointed in my experience. During my pedicure, the lady cut me on each foot while she was scrapping my feet. The polish on my toes is also so poorly done. For the gel x, I kept asking for a shorter length because they were too long and she was getting annoyed that I kept asking for them to be shorter and eventually just stopped asking/saying anything to me. Which is so frustrating because I'm the one paying for this and I'm the one that's going to have to wear them. I had to ask for her to refile my nails as there were sharp edges and a bunch of glue under the nail touching my skin when she came back over to take the UV light away (she had already moved onto a different customer during this time). The edges are very poorly done and I'm disappointed that I spent so much money coming here. I will never be returning to this place. I should have asked for someone to fix them or should have just told them to stop so I could leave to go somewhere else. Also the attached pictures are from today.. barely 6 hours after I got them done.

First time in this salon and I loved it!!! I will be back, no doubt! I showed a picture of what I wanted and asked for the price. They said they could do the acrylic nails as pictured (they actually came out even more beautiful) and the price was fair. The staff, the cleanliness, the genuine customer service, and above all, the amazing work they did prompted me to write this review. I will definitely be back! Thank you for making my nails so beautiful. It is a form of art, for sure, and our nail tech had a lot of talent and experience. It is these kinds of things, in addition to wonderful customer service and friendly staff thst will have me coming back as well as recommending Skyline to others. Thank you!! I love my nails!!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Skyline Nail Spa. I came back because this salon used to do such a great job, but the quality and customer service have gone completely downhill. I explained THREE separate times how I wanted my nails done, yet the technician still cut them far shorter than I requested and gave me a shape that looked nothing like what I asked for. When I tried to explain the issue, the technician grabbed my hand and pulled me over to the manager instead of trying to understand my concerns. She did not know an ounce of English and just kept laughing at me?? There was a guy working there earlier, I think his name was philip, but they fired him. He was such a nice technician and did everything right and neatly. The manager guy was incredibly dismissive and immediately acted as though the situation was somehow my fault. He then took over my service but seemed rushed the entire time, despite the salon not even being busy. The final result was awful. My nails were unevenly filed, the shape was inconsistent, and there were visible air bubbles in the polish. To make matters worse, he barely allowed the polish to cure properly under the UV lamp before moving on. The lack of professionalism didn’t stop there. Once he finished, he simply walked away and told me I was done. No cuticle oil, no hand lotion, no effort whatsoever, services that are normally included and expected. I paid for a professional manicure and left with nails that looked rushed, uneven, and nothing like what I requested. This was honestly one of the worst salon experiences I’ve had, and I will not be returning. And I definitely don’t recommend ANYONE giving a penny of your money to this business. There’s plenty of other salons that do the job way better with quality and class.

They were nice but nails don’t last. I’m disappointed for 2 reasons. I got regular gel manicure last Sunday, paid $46 + tip. 1st reason: Within 3-4 days, I noticed cracks on my nails, and by Friday on the same week they were chipping badly. (I don’t have any bad habit with my nails) 2nd reason: I was told to pick color from the palette they gave me. I picked 2 I liked. After they stated doing my nails and it was time to pant, they told me they don’t have colors I picked. They could have said something before they started. Overall $46 for the gel mani that cracks in 3 days is not worth it for me. I can do it myself and they’d last more than a week 😔
