He gave me honest, professional advice and recommended veneers as the best solution for my smile. From selecting the right shade to placing the veneers, Dr. Kenny was incredibly skilled, patient, and detail-oriented. The entire process was smooth, and he made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Today is my second day with my new veneers, and everything feels great. They look very natural, and I already feel much more confident about my smile. DO NOT GO TO SUGAR LAND MODERN DENTISTRY AND ORTHODONTICS I wished I had read some of the reviews here before coming to this place. I chose Sugar Land Modern Dentistry because it was one of the businesses in my insurance plan. I have a regular dental clinic that I have been visiting for 20 years but they don't take the dental insurance that got new for 2026. I didn't really want to go to another dentist, but these days if you can save a couple hundred dollars because of an insurance policy, you want to do that. I thought, what the hey? A six-month check up and cleaning should be pretty straight forward. I was wrong. After a battery of X-rays and a silly saliva test the dentist came in and immediately started pushing me on getting a night guard even though I told her that I do not grind my teeth and she saw no evidence that I grind my teeth. Then she went on about the spaces in my teeth and that my gums were 5mm and that I needed deep cleaning. At my last checkup at my trusted dentist six-months ago, my gums were fine. I asked her twice, TWICE, to go on with the regular cleaning. She went on about my bleeding gums. I floss daily; my gums do not bleed. By this point I had lost all trust with her. I yanked the bib off my neck and got up and left. When visiting a dental professional, I want to trust that they will give the best dental care and not try to maximize how much money they can get out of me. Three days later I had a session with my regular trusted dentist. I did not mention the earlier bad experience with Sugar Land Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics to him. My regular hygienist cleaned my teeth, took a few x-rays, and pointed out a crown that has an issue. The dentist examined me. He gave my gums a clean bill of health. He looked at the crown, showed me the problem, and then gave me treatment plan to replace that crown in the next six months.
