I’ve gotta be honest, when I first started going to this place, I walked in feeling a bit judged for my nails and feet that were in terrible condition. I often don’t like going in to get my nails done until it gets really bad! It just takes too much time!! The reason for going back here was initially the pricing- it’s reasonable- for the Sugar Land area. And I needed something close, in Tel Fair/New Territory. Then I found my people. Oh yes… I’m in love with a couple of technicians here. But they get way too busy and booked up when I need an emergency appt, so I’d rather not advertise their names 🤭 However, I will say this place is better than the new spot across the street- Genova nails. I tried them out and initially left a 5 star review (because they bribed me to leave a 5 star review for a discount). But I did have to delete it later on when I remembered. It wasn’t that great. THIS nail salon review, however, has not been influenced by a bribe. I really do appreciate this business and my techs, that I really hope they thrive and stay open. Today, my tech even created a new sort of holographic French tip design with the cat-eye nail polish. I love it.

I went in for a Shellac manicure and was quoted $40. I chose a color, but during application it didn’t look right and I felt uncomfortable with the technician’s behavior. There was giggling and comments made in another language while working on my nails, which made the experience feel unprofessional. When I moved my hand slightly, I was scolded rather than corrected politely. At that point, I asked to have everything removed because I was no longer comfortable continuing the service. I was told the appointment would take 40 minutes, but it ran longer and I ended up leaving without any color applied — only shaping and removal. I was still charged $30.90. I understand paying for time and removal, but the overall experience and customer service were disappointing. I won’t be returning.

The service was amazing, and Hera was perfect at replicating my nail inspiration! I will definitely be coming back and recommending Venetian Nail Spa to others.

I absolutely love how my nails came out!! This is my first time here and this is the nicest salon I’ve been too, so the price is understandable, I will 100% recommend. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, I came in on a Saturday morning as a walk in and was seen almost immediately!
