Our family of 7 booked a private tour with Vietravel from Orange County. We traveled from the beautiful Ha Long Bay to the ancient town of Hoi An and scenic Danang. Our daughter got engaged in Hoi An and we would cherish this precious moment forever. We had a great time and really enjoyed this trip because of our wonderful tour guide, Khương/Kevin. He was knowledgeable, helpful, dedicated and personable. He was the best tour guide I have met in my 33 years of travel. I would request Khương to be my tour guide for my Korea trip. We would like to express our appreciation for Miss Mai Phuong from USA and Miss Như from Saigon for their exceptional support and effort throughout our trip. We highly recommend Vietravel.

World class service all the way from A to Z Ms. Mai Phuong and Mr. Tuan in Westminster are the ultimate professionals and absolutely irreplaceable. You are both there for us days and nights and make sure our needs are met. We would like to express our gratitude to the drivers, especially to Cuong. He was calm, cautious, responsible driving 1,700 km through winding, and more winding, uphill roads, to the top of mountains on our Ha Giang tour. The tour guides Sinh and Nhu are very friendly and knowledge to the areas. It is very helpful for us to have a history of the beautiful places we visited. Overall, It is such a wonderful and enjoyable trip. There are breathtaking, beautiful scenery. Our trip with Vietravel was 5 days in Da Nang, Hue, Quang Binh, then 5 days in Ha Giang, Yen Minh, Dong Van.

Thanks to a recommendation from a friend in Canada, we found Vietravel travel agency in Orange County online, and Ms. Mai Phuong arranged our trip to Vietnam, covering all three regions: North, Central, and South. Thanks to her dedication and professionalism, we all received our visas quickly and at a reasonable cost. Ms. Mai Phuong handled everything, from round-trip airfare and hotel bookings to arranging sightseeing activities (we traveled as a private group of 5). Everything was meticulously planned, from choosing tour guides to arranging transportation. Regarding meals, Ms. Nhu Nguyen selected many delicious local dishes, and she was our main point of contact throughout our trip in Vietnam, from airport pick-up and drop-off to check-in and flight procedures; she provided prompt assistance whenever needed. We are very grateful to Mai Phuong, Nhu Nguyen, and Vietravel for arranging such a wonderful and perfect trip for us. Two thumbs up 👍.

Just completed an 11-day tour of north and central Vietnam with Vietravel and it was very disappointing. Despite asking ahead of time AND getting reassurances that this is NOT one of those "sales" tours where they drop you off encountered to destinations to "factories" that sell pearls, jewels, textiles, etc, we did EXACTLY that! Our tour bus stopped somewhere everyday to "pitstop" somewhere but it's always a specialty store with a showroom and some 5-10 min spiel about their products and we end up being there an hour being encouraged to shop. I know these are all prearranged to subsidize the cost of tour package but we specifically asked to avoid this and we're willing to pay more to avoid this time such! Oh and speaking of tour bus, Vietravel said it was a small to moderate tour group size (8-16 ish) but definitely less than 20. We ended up with 35 or so on one of those giant tour busses. And of course some ppl on the tour always are the laggards or are obnoxiously loud and rude! And the included meals ALWAYS sucked! Our best meals were when de ditched the tour meal and went out on our own. We also received an email about a week and half before our travel dates (March 12-22) that a couple of itinerary items were being canceled and would be receiving a refund. We're back from our travels and have yet to be refunded. I WILL paying a visit to their Little Saigon Bolsa satellite office to inquire! Bottom line: price was reasonable but Vietravel LIED about group tour size and the shopping pitstops! That resulted in so much wasted time traveling on the road! Pro tip: look at travel package itineraries, then hire a private car to do the same destinations. You're travel time will be much faster, maximizing your time at the tourist destinations to enjoy. Yes, you may pay a little more but have the freedom and flexibility to really appreciate the vacation. And with today's smartphone and internet acces you can explore on your own without feeling isolated even in the remote villages.
