ABC MART is an Asian grocery store at 4801 N 19th Ave in Phoenix, Arizona. It serves shoppers looking for Asian groceries, with customer feedback specifically describing South Asian goods and food. Whether you are searching for familiar ingredients, browsing for something new, or planning a grocery stop while in the area, ABC MART offers a neighborhood market option in central Phoenix. The store’s listed rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 84 reviews, giving prospective visitors a useful overview while individual experiences may vary.
Customers describe the selection as diverse and say they can find many of the things they are looking for. One reviewer also mentions “fun stuff,” suggesting that a visit can include browsing beyond a quick essentials run. The available information does not identify particular products or prepared dishes as specialties, so it is best to think of ABC MART as a market for exploring Asian and South Asian grocery offerings rather than expecting a specific menu. Shoppers can check in person for the products that fit their cooking plans and household needs.
Feedback about service and product condition is mixed. Some visitors praise staff as friendly and mention a particularly nice employee, while other reviews raise concerns about customer service. One shopper also reports that some vegetables were not fresh or usable, and another describes the store as affordable while noting that prices can feel high. These are individual customer opinions, not a guarantee of what every visit will be like. If fresh produce, pricing, or a particular item matters to your trip, checking the goods and asking staff directly may help you decide what to buy.
ABC MART is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Its Phoenix location may suit local residents and visitors looking for an Asian grocery stop, especially those interested in South Asian foods and goods. The reviews point to a varied market experience, with both positive comments about selection and staff and suggestions for improvement. For a straightforward visit, confirm the store’s hours before heading out and browse the shelves to see whether the available selection matches what you need that day.

I came the day of yesterday to do some shopping at this store, and the old lady was so rude to me, looking for a certain item and she was like we don’t sell that here what are you stupid? I didn’t say nothing to her because I respect older people; the younger girl has more manners than the old woman. I don’t recommend this store to anybody, in order to have a store if you want to be a business owner, you have to learn to have manners. You have to learn to understand people, and if someone comes into your store looking for a certain item, you don’t tell him that they’re stupid him what item are you looking for? May I help you find this item and if you don’t sell that item or that product you can at least tell him I’m sorry we don’t have this product but you can try a different story or a different location. Customer Service the only person that was nice to me was the stock boy the one that was fixing all the produce on the back, he was very polite. He was the one that gave me the location of a different story that he knows that saw the product I was looking for. And while I was there, I noticed that all their prices were so expensive for a small bottle of gel five dollars that same bottle they sell it at Walmart for $1.50 and at least at Walmart. I know that the bottle is new here at this location. I really doubt it it’s new. This isn’t for people that are handicapped either. There’s no room to walk through lanes so if you’re in a wheelchair, it’s impossible for you to go through lane through lane there’s gonna be a box on the floor or merchandise in the floor or something in the floor that’s in a prevent to roll down down the aisle. ALSO, THE WALLS THE CEILING, THE FLOOR IT’S ALL DIRTY IF YOU’RE GONNA SELL VEGETABLES, FRUITS, OR ANY KIND OF PRODUCT, YOU MAKE SURE THAT YOUR BUILDING IS CLEAN. THIS BUILDING IS BAD THERE WERE SPIDERWEBS. I WAS GONNA BUY SOME FRUIT & SOME VEGETABLES BUT THERE WAS DUST AND DIRT FALLING ON TOP OF THEM I CHANGE MY MIND. Horrible, horrible place to shop just because a store is close to you it doesn’t mean that it’s always a good story. It’s always best to travel a bit further that way you buy what you get you buy cheap you get cheap, just look at this you go a bit further to a different location, a different store and you’re gonna get high-quality merchandise.
I like ABC Mart, pretty affordable, BUT it has very bad vegetables like most of them are not usable, so I would recommend bringing stuff less so that people can buy it on daily basis, like they’re not fresh at all. I really like the lady there tho, she is amazing and very nice person. God bless
OK, here is the thing; its typically targeted for asian customers with south asian goods and food. You may find most of the things you are looking for; yeah its little pricy and we dont like the way to get receipts, we should have asked the …
This is store need to improve their customer service skills, because this not only for Asian. This old lady need to stay home and let young people do the work because she is very mean to everyone ( kids or adults). This is not only store around have a veggies, I rather go to store where they value their customers. She even called me stupid, I told her you are the stupidest woman, and I was asked to leave the store for responding back to her, ( how can you insult a customer first and asked me to leave the store) what kind of store owner can called their customers names. This is not the first time I encountered this type of situation in this store from this disrespectful older woman. I have a video record. I will never go there again. I’m going to report her to the state department. While waiting inline for checks out some Asian people keep going back and get things they need or forgot, i asked her please tell them if they are not ready, take us we are ready so rude? Her response was do you see me dancing I was like why are you She told go away from here like seriously this is America please open the store not only for income but for what you love.
