Ann's Beauty #2 favorite hair store

Always love the selection of hair and accessories here. My go to place for skin and hair care items as well. Love their shades as well picked up two pairs this time!

I had an unsatisfactory experience at Ann’s Beauty Supply due to poor customer service. I was already at the register ready to check out when I noticed some earrings I wanted to look at, so I courteously allowed the customer behind me to go ahead of me. After the line cleared, I returned to the register and politely asked to briefly look at a wig glue product so I could read and compare it with other items I planned to purchase. The cashier told me I was holding up the line, even though there were only two customers waiting. Only one register was open at the time, despite another employee being present. If the concern was the line moving quickly, the second register could have been opened instead of rushing a paying customer. I felt unnecessarily pressured during my purchase. Customers should be allowed a reasonable amount of time to review products, especially when the store is not busy. I hope management addresses this, as professional and respectful service is essential.

Thank you Ann’s Beauty. I am currently in your store and once again I have purchased a $400+ wig. I’ve taken a picture of your wonderful staff cutting my lace front and my receipt. I’m doing this because I’ve had a terrible time with Tisun who, like you, have a mostly African American clientele still not letting us try on wigs as of 7/14/2023. Thank you for not mistreating your customers who are spending hundreds and over time thousands of hard earned $$$ with you. I don’t like being treated like a criminal. We can go into salons, get lashes, facials, eyebrows, shop for clothes and should be able to try on this expense purchase which is not returnable. Please don’t change. Customer for life. I’ll travel further to be treated with respect and care.

I use to shop here frequently. One day I was overcharged and the Asian man refuse to correct their mistake. He told me he can't do anything about it and that they put the wrong price on the item. OK, who's fault is that, as a customer I'm shopping with my eyes so if I see the price on an item that's what I expect when I get to the register. Black people need to stop supporting businesses like this. We are the reason their business is thriving especially during the pandemic. They just lost a loyal customer and I will spread the word and make sure people understand that these businesses are not businesses without customers. It's a shame.
