I am disappointed with my experience purchasing professional blow dryers from Armstrong McCall. I have purchased two blow dryers from this location, both priced over $200, and experienced issues with each. The first unit developed problems within the first year of use. The second was used for approximately two weeks before it became clear that it did not perform at the level expected of a professional-grade dryer. Additionally, upon opening the second package, two included attachments were missing. I was unable to return to the store immediately; however, I was informed that the store does not accept returns on this type of merchandise. As a licensed beauty professional, I expect a higher level of product reliability and customer support, particularly when purchasing tools intended for daily professional use. When issues arise with defective, incomplete, or underperforming products, there should be a reasonable process in place to address them. During my second purchase, I requested guidance in selecting a high-quality professional blow dryer, but I did not receive clear recommendations to assist in making an informed decision. I ultimately selected a BaByliss dryer based on its general reputation within the industry. In contrast, a personal-use blow dryer purchased from Amazon has performed more reliably, and the company followed up to ensure satisfaction and offered a discount on future purchases. This highlighted a noticeable difference in customer service experience. As a professional stylist, I expect both reliable products and responsive customer service when investing in tools essential to my work. Based on my experience, I will not be purchasing additional blow dryers from Armstrong McCall, and I would encourage other professionals to review the return policy carefully before purchasing electrical tools, as resolution options may be limited if issues arise.

I had a wonderful experience at this store! Anna is the best salesperson I’ve ever worked with. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. She took the time to answer all my questions and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. The rest of the staff is also welcoming and professional, and the location is clean and beautiful. I’ve been going to this color store for years! They almost always have everything I need, and the staff are incredibly kind and sweet. They always let me call in orders over the phone and are so happy to do it right away for me! Will not be going to any other color stores!! Anna is especially helpful and sweet!!
