I had a great experience at Armstrong McCall today! The staff was so friendly and helpful. They took the time to tell me about all the deals and promotions they were having, which I really appreciated. The store was clean and well organized. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I am appalled at the service, from one woman, she has short hair and loud vibrant mismatched eyeliner. Just to be clear, I worked for this specific location while in high school, before it moved locations. I actually have known the owner for years. I have moved to the north side but when I visit or do hair in sugar land -I use this location. I recognized several employees that I have known for years and they greet me with a smile, always. The first interaction I had with this woman, we came in minutes to closing. I knew what I needed and would be in and out. I’m in an industry where I know what it means to have someone come in right before close and you treat them the same as the first person coming in. She was rude and short tempered I can only assume because we were coming in close to close. Spent over 100$ that visit. We were out of there within five minutes. Second interaction was better due to not being spoken to by her at all—just glares while my autistic nephew walked the store without us. Factually steaming with his phone which he’s done his entire life there, not disrupting anyone or anything. Third interaction still has me furious. I thought I would calm myself with time but I am still very distraught. I use my parents number as I have my entire life which I am now 40- it’s fast and should be updated with my current license as I am licensed as well for 8* years. I’ve been in the industry since I could walk and with my parents while picking up product. My parents did business with you specifically for over 36 and my aunt still does regularly. I gave my normal number to her and she tells me “the man that owns this number says only he can buy from this account” word for word. Hindsight. No one else has ever said this to me or my sister which is normally with me. If this was so, why did she not ask me for another number? Why was I treated like someone not holding a license? Why did she not ask for my license number? This woman should not be working the counter or able to treat people in such a way. If it were for the other two interactions and the judgement passed I would have let it go - but judging someone and allowing your bad day to melt over onto someone who is paying you money is wild! Disrespectful. I gave my number and my license to her and guessed what - it checked out. I would like to know what’s going to happen to all my points I’ve acquired on that number and why your employees are allowed to act this way? Is this a new standard? Or just for her?

This is my favorite beauty supply in the Houston area. Vickie always keeps me up to date on the deals of the month and the inside staff are always friendly and helpful. This location is always well stocked and organized. Thank you for creating a welcoming environment to make shopping a breeze! Highly recommend!
