With a 4.0-star rating from 167 reviews, it is the kind of longtime local spot where regulars often return for specific dishes and late-day meals.

The menu is especially appealing for guests who like having many choices at the table. Customer comments mention walnut prawns, fried rice, fried sole fish, sautéed eggplant, Szechuan chicken, stir-fried vegetables, and Chinese dishes alongside Vietnamese-style noodle soup. One dish that stands out in local feedback is mì Triều Châu, appreciated by longtime diners for its comforting broth, noodles, crispy Chinese donuts, and the option to add pork fried fat for extra richness. These details give Asiana Restaurant Chinese-Vietnamese Cuisine a distinct place among Milpitas Chinese restaurants, especially for people looking for flavors that bridge Chinese and Vietnamese home-style eating.

The atmosphere at Asiana Restaurant Chinese-Vietnamese Cuisine is casual and practical rather than polished, suited to families, groups, and diners who want a filling meal without a formal dining experience. Reviews suggest the environment can vary depending on the night; at times it may be quiet and easygoing, while larger gatherings or karaoke can make the room feel lively and loud. That makes it a good fit for guests who enjoy a social, neighborhood-restaurant feel, and it may be less ideal for those seeking a very quiet dinner conversation. For families with kids or mixed tastes, the wide menu can be useful, though guests with garlic sensitivity or salt preferences may want to ask questions before ordering.

Open daily from 10:00 AM to midnight, Asiana is convenient for lunch, dinner, and later meals in the Milpitas area. Its extended hours make it practical for shift workers, families after activities, and anyone looking for Chinese-Vietnamese cuisine beyond the usual dinner window. Because some reviewers mention extra charges or credit card surcharges, it is sensible to check the bill and payment details before closing out, especially for group meals. Overall, Asiana Restaurant Chinese-Vietnamese Cuisine in Milpitas, CA is best approached as a straightforward local Chinese restaurant with Vietnamese influences, a large selection, and several memorable comfort dishes that have kept some customers coming back for years.

Came in on a Sunday night and it was pretty empty. The food was decent; the walnut prawns and the fried rice were good, while the stir fried veggies were on the garlicky side (wasn't mentioned on the menu and the kids didn't like it). The chicken was dry (overcooked?) so that was the only dish that was no good. Price wise for the 4 dishes it was almost $90 pretip. The verdict is I think there are better options in the area.

I recently visited Asiana Restaurant, and honestly, it was a bit of a letdown. Maybe it was just the night I went, since there was a birthday party happening, but it was ridiculously loud with karaoke blasting the entire time—made it almost impossible to have a conversation. On top of that, the cleanliness was definitely lacking. The plates, bowls, glasses, and even the rice containers were sticky, and it was clear they weren’t washed properly. The tables weren't wiped down either, which made the whole experience feel pretty off-putting. As for the food, it was pretty disappointing. Everything was way too salty, and the timing was just all wrong. We had to wait around 30 minutes for the next wave of dishes to come out, and by the time they arrived, we were already full. The chairs were uncomfortable, and to top it all off, the bathroom was in awful condition. Overall, it didn’t live up to expectations, and I wouldn’t rush back.

A little overpriced for its taste. I got the fried sole fish and sautéed eggplant, which were decent, but the Szechuan chicken was too salty for my liking. I have been there several years ago and the quality of the food has noticeably declined.

Pros: Good tasting food, lots of selection. Cons: a lot of extra charges in the bill which add up on the price. We asked for water, got water in a red plastic cup, and we're charged two dollars for it. When paying for credit, we weren't told there was a 3.5% surcharge because we were using credit until after they completed the transaction. (The surcharge is done at other places, but usually the staff would let you know ahead of time!)

We’ve been going here since our children were born and now they’re 15 and 12. This place has the best mì triều châu IMHO. The crispy Chinese donuts complement the noodles soup perfectly well. This is the only place that I could get extra pork fried fat to enhance my soup taste. Other Chinese dishes are quite tasty, authentic and the price is so reasonable like inexpensive. The service here is very attentive and responsive. I like to come here whenever we want Chinese food although we live quite far away. Chicken Broccoli is so tender and perfectly cooked. Combination chow mein my son ordered every time. The xo beef is great. This place is always crowded regardless of the weather. We love it here.
