Beauty 101

Be very careful shopping at this store. I recently had an extremely disappointing experience after purchasing what I believe was a counterfeit Pure NeatBraid Gel. I called the store to request a refund and was told to bring the product back the same day or I would not be able to get my money back. When I returned, I was given completely different information. I understand that stores have exchange policies, but the way this situation was handled was unacceptable. When they attempted to give me store credit, they initially offered me only $9, even though I paid $13.49. After I pointed out the discrepancy, they tried to deduct 10% from the $13.49. I tried to explain that the exchange amount still did not addi up, but instead of calmly resolving the issue, all three employees became hostile and argumentative. I was yelled at, asked if I knew how to read, and treated as though I was causing trouble for simply trying to understand the amount I was owed. I felt like they were trying to publicly humiliate me and create a scene. The employees called the police and, in my opinion, gave an inaccurate account of what happened. I waited for the police to arrive, and thankfully the officer helped settle the situation. Even after that, I was approached and spoken to rudely multiple times. This was especially disappointing because I have been shopping at this store for two years, and they know me as a regular customer. I have always been transparent and respectful when shopping there, so the level of disrespect I received was shocking. This experience was enough for me to decide that I will not be shopping there again. It also reminded me why I prefer to support professional beauty supply stores with knowledgeable staff and better customer service. My warning to others is to be very careful about what you purchase from this store and make sure you are certain about the product before leaving. Based on my experience, I did not feel that customer satisfaction or respectful treatment was a priority. I felt that the focus was more on keeping the money than properly addressing a legitimate customer concern. I hope my experience helps someone else avoid going through the same thing

I love this store , I come in every other week from Monroe North Carolina, which makes the drive 30 minutes, but it is worth the good customer service and I bring my daughter with me and we love their hair products and their perfume …

Clean, organized, and have just about anything you need. Sometimes the staff will follow you around. Not always super friendly, but it could just be cultural. If you need something, they will help you. Prices are reasonable. This is the only hair store I like to shop at on this side of town. I'm never disappointed about their selection of hair products, accessories and beauty supplies.

My experience is always middle ground.. so so. The associates followed me around. one stood at the end of the aisle watching me while the other one was at the register watching me, every time I go in there which I've been multiple times …

I love Beauty 101 and the staff! Everyones so sweet and helpful. And they have a decent selection of hair and products; I always find what I'm looking for 💜 I highly recommend …
