Hate to leave a bad review but I got there about 7 / 8 minutes or so before closing. Just wanted to grab a quick pair of ear rings before they close (I’m a regular and always in and out within 5 min) ….. doors were locked, I knocked once politely and waited. Made eye contact multiple times, smiled and waved lol and was ignored. As he let out some of the last customers and knows I’ve been waiting .. he begins to close the door. I politely asked if I could grab earrings he says no. It’s now a minute before close. I politely said okay and left. I get it run a business how you want but I’m in here every week I mean the workers all know me. I don’t know any other stores that close before their actual time of closing. Not only that but the way I was refused was demeaning. Won’t be returning again.

RACIST that’s my one word review. If you want me to expound, here is my detailed experience. I have never been more disgusted by customer service in my life. I was shopping with my mother for braiding wigs and hair supplies, and at one point we were simply standing in the aisle comparing ingredient lists between three products. We were there for maybe five minutes. During that time, more than three employees began circling around us and staring in a way that felt extremely uncomfortable and intimidating. We were toward the back of the store, not acting suspicious in any way, and we had a shopping basket full of products we clearly intended to buy. Neither my mother nor I had a purse, and it was obvious we were just shopping (I am not saying it will be correct to treat us that way if we have our purses and didn’t not have a basket. What I am trying to get at is that even if I gave them the benefit of doubt and say they are just being vigilant, they have no cause to stand on to treat and profile us other than simple a case of racial profiling.) What makes this even more disturbing is that this store profits almost entirely from Black customers and Black hair products. For a business that claims to serve the Black community, the level of racial profiling and disrespect we experienced was appalling. That behavior is racist, plain and simple. The disrespect continued at the register. After we had already paid for the items we were purchasing, I asked to see the human hair they sell because I was considering buying it as well. The employee (the older Asian man) handed it to me for only a few seconds and then snatched it out of my hand while I was still reading and inspecting it. This was humiliating, unnecessary, and completely unprofessional. I will never return to this store. And to anyone reading this: if you’re unsure whether to believe my experience or the many similar reviews, go see for yourself. Spend more than five minutes in the store and pay attention to how closely you are monitored and tracked. In the world we live in today, there is no excuse for this kind of treatment. I refuse to spend my time or money at small-minded businesses that profile their own customers. To my fellow Black customers and allies: know your worth. Your money has power. Do not support businesses that treat you like a suspect instead of a customer. Say no to racism, and take your money somewhere you are respected. P.S. I would give them 0 star if it was possible.

Everything is over priced here. A pack of crochet hair here is $7.99. Jenny's, h&m beauty, and other stores has it for $5.99. A pack of SYNTHETIC CLIP-INS is $32.99. That same pack at Jenny's is 22.99. They're prices gouging the locals

I agree with the negative reviews below. The male at the register was closely watching me, the moment I got in the store. Not even 5 minutes in my shopping, he was peeking around the corner trying to watch me. It made me so uncomfortable. Stop selling black products if you don’t want our business. Meanwhile, the Hispanic family was able to freely shop without getting monitored. I will never spend my money here again,

This store has been my store now for 14 years. Not one time going in here have I had a staff member do anything but assist me when needed. Always willing to except new idea about products staff friendly prices may sometimes be higher but as they should adjust like any other business all stores which are mom an pop stores have gone up an it is what it is. One staff member I honestly adore his kindness is prompt assistance an kind gesture is JUN YOU NEED ANYTHING TRUST HE WILL DO HIS BEST TO ASSIST. I must say I do miss the plus size clothing lol an more ear ring choices
