Bobacat Tea House is an absolute gem — easily one of the cutest and most satisfying boba spots in Portland. Stepping inside feels like walking into a cat lover’s dream. The walls are covered with adorable cat photos and polaroids, there are plushies (including an Eevee named Milk Tea), and the whole place has this warm, playful energy that instantly puts you in a good mood. It’s small and cozy, right across from Portland State University, which makes it perfect for a quick study break or a treat after class. The drinks are where it really shines. Their signature Bobacat Milk Tea (especially the brown sugar version) is outstanding — bold Assam black tea, perfectly chewy boba, and that dreamy sea salt cheese foam on top. It’s creamy, balanced, and not overly sweet. Other standouts include the Passion Fruit White Peach Oolong, jasmine milk tea, and the refreshing fruit options. Everything is highly customizable: you can adjust sweetness, ice level, and choose from oat, soy, almond, or lactose-free milk. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, which makes ordering a breeze. horrible service and inconsistent… same drink same order. made mine wrong the first time then remade it not even filling the top, a quarter of my drink gone? edit: the service had been awful, unfriendly, and now with these replies it’s clear this business does not care about it’s customers. Lying about a customer’s order and experience is atrocious, the two drinks in the picture are the exact same, except one was ordered through the kiosk. Check the receipts. came to the boba cat tea house, it is cute and tiny inside. it's nice place to stop by and take a break, study and get boba. staff is nice. I like their drinks from here. I got the Thai tea and strawberry milk tea with boba as both drinks.

My friend and I walked to Bobacat Tea House our first night in Portland from The Hotel Zags and fell in love with it, it’s Cat Polaroid Wall—how do I get my cats on there—and their drinks! I grabbed some milk tea and loved it! I wish I had one back in IL!
