Brilliant Earth is a wonderful specialized jeweler and I recommend highly that you consider using their concierge service. In particular, Kaitlyn was over the top wonderful for me personally. Kaitlyn helped me customize an engagement ring and she spent a long time working on it to get it the way I wanted. The ironic thing is I broke up with the woman who was to receive it. I kept the ring and considered selling it. But as fate would have it, I met another woman who is really truly the right lady to receive it. Again, Kaitlyn immediately responded to my request to have the ring resized for no charge and made me feel totally welcomed and appreciated once again. She took the time to answer all of my questions and helped me select an Emery 6.5mm ring in 14K rose gold and 18K white gold that feels both timeless and meaningful. She also assisted with a promotional item exchange, which made the experience even better. What I appreciated most was that there was never any pressure. It’s hard to access this storefront at this location if you are unfamiliar with the area and any kind of communication online or by phone is through an automated system. I had an unwelcoming experience at this location which was a disappointment. My spouse had a confirmed order from an online purchase that would not arrive on time for our ceremony, which was understandable. We didn’t have expectations for the associates to miraculously give us our order. However the way that we were interacted with was severely off putting since asking for advice or any kind of accommodation made us feel like they were not interested in working with us. I had to be the one to initiate a new delivery address for the ring we ordered since it was due to be delivered after we would leave town. We were advised to go to the mall or “order on Amazon.” Our conversation was interrupted so another customer could be serviced. Again, that would be understandable except it just emphasizes how much attention our situation was afforded, which I think is an odd way to treat people who have already made a purchase. We walked in with a confirmation number and prior online communications that said an expedited order would be attempted. It wasn’t as if we visited before closing to window shop. Customer service was lacking. We canceled our Brilliant Earth order altogether and purchased a ring through another vendor that provides ethically sourced diamonds.
