Sign in to reviewhonestly one of the best bakery spots around, i come here way more than i should. their croissants are always perfect and flaky, salty and buttery at the same time. ive been coming back for years and it never disappoints, especially the chocolate chip cookies when theyre still warm.
I used to love this bakery. I visited yesterday and got an apple slice $7.50 for one piece ($1 is tip). I cut it in half and had half yesterday. I thought the dough must have been overworked because it was so flat. Then I got sick all night until this afternoon. I open the container where I had put the other half and with bright daylight I couldn’t believe my eyes… the dough is raw 😣 completely raw. I won’t shop here again. There are plenty of good bakeries around, go somewhere else! Bad job, Crispian bakery!!
Nice little bakery with great prices for their breads and other items. We were a bit late in the day so many of the daily specials were sold out. I got a cinnamon roll, sticky bun bread pudding, and a pumpkin muffin. The pumpkin muffin had no wheat and since it could come into contact with wheat it wasn’t labeled gluten free. I liked the orange icing on the cinnamon roll but would have liked more cinnamon in the roll. My favorite was the sticky bun bread pudding! I ate half of it cold and the other half microwaved and loved it both ways. I wish that there was a table or two inside.
Went in to buy a last minute bday cake and chose the chocolate caramel pecan. In short, it was an absolute hit, everyone loved it! Not only was the cake beautiful to look at (people hesitated to cut a slice because it looked so nice), but it was delicious! It was perfectly balanced in buttercream to cake to caramel pecan filling. Each element was scrumptious on its own, and combined was cake perfection! Along with the cake, the kouign amann and the oatmeal and golden raisin cookie will be something I get any time I can make it to this bakery.
The local beauty of bread. Tasty, crispy, delicious. Would buy anything again- their pies, bread, pastries.
