Da Valley Grill is a Hawaiian restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona, at 2040 W Deer Valley Rd Ste A, Phoenix, AZ 85027. Tucked into an industrial area, this small, unassuming spot is described by customers as a friendly place to stop for a freshly prepared meal. Reviewers often mention kind, humble service and quick preparation, while one customer appreciated how clean the restaurant was. The overall rating is 4.3 stars from 304 reviews, offering a useful snapshot of local feedback while recognizing that individual experiences and preferences vary. Da Valley Grill may suit nearby residents, workers, and visitors looking for a casual meal rather than a formal dining occasion.

Customers point to several dishes when describing what they enjoyed. Short ribs are a recurring favorite, with reviewers praising their flavor and noting that they were cooked to order. Other positive mentions include chicken katsu, mac salad, and fried rice, with one guest comparing the mac salad favorably with similar options elsewhere. The menu also draws interest beyond those Hawaiian-style plate-lunch favorites: a reviewer enjoyed Mongolian beef, while another called the spicy miso ramen flavorful and paired it with California rolls. These comments reflect specific customer experiences, not a guarantee that every dish will match every taste, but they give first-time diners concrete ideas to consider.

Da Valley Grill’s appeal appears to come from its relaxed, tucked-away setting and approachable service as much as from its food. Several guests describe staff as welcoming and say their orders arrived quickly and freshly prepared. That combination can make the restaurant a practical choice for a casual lunch or dinner, whether you are exploring the Deer Valley area or seeking a local independent business. Feedback is not uniformly positive: one reviewer found the shrimp pad thai lacking in flavor, despite noting that the staff were nice and service was quick. Checking the menu and choosing dishes that match your preferences can help set expectations.

The restaurant is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; it is closed on Sunday. Its Deer Valley Road address makes it a convenient option to look up when you are in north Phoenix and want Hawaiian-inspired comfort food alongside a broader selection of Asian dishes mentioned by diners. For a first visit, the short ribs, chicken katsu, or mac salad are among the items reviewers specifically recommend, while ramen and other choices have also earned enthusiastic comments. Da Valley Grill offers a straightforward, locally rooted dining stop where service, freshness, and the dish you choose all shape the experience.

The service was great, very humble and good overall customer service from who I believe was the owner behind the counter. The food was AMAZING, cooked to order and the place was really clean. I had a great experience overall, will definitely be back. I recommend the short ribs, cooked to order, great char and marinade on the meat. The rice was aromatic and the Mac salad unique. The sauce were great and homemade, can't recommend enough.

Super cute little place tuck away in an industrial place, with amazing service, they were all so nice! Food was made quick and fresh. It was absolutely delicious and is by far the best I've had compared to other asain restaurants, including the big sit down ones. I got the Mongolian Beef, fried rice and crab rangoon, everything was so flavor and rich, the crab rangoons was by far the smoothest ones I've ever had with a perfect crunch! My partner got the orange chicken and it had the perfect outer soft crunch before getting to the super juicy chicken and the sauce was the perfect blend of sweetness and savory tang. I definitely recommend this place!

I’m a big fan of L&L Hawaiian but I have never tried Da Valley. Decided to finally commit, was not disappointed whatsoever. Their short rib had an insanely good flavor, their Mac salad had a better flavor than competitors, and their chicken katsu was on par. The owner was really nice too. I didn’t realize there weren’t quite open and without making a fuss or even bringing it to my attention, he took my order and was polite about it. It was only once I arrived there that I noticed their hours. This place has a new regular!

I wanted it to be better... Supporting local businesses is important, however this was lack luster. Location is very industrial. Folks were very nice. The service was quick. Shrimp pad thai lacked flavor. I added three sauces at home to make it taste good.

Amazing place. You always know its gonna be good when it's just a humble tucked away spot. We got the spicy miso ramen and the California rolls. 1000000/10 absolutely phenomenal. Ramen was extremely flavorful and worth the price. Pork just …
