Donuts are a signature draw, and the changing flavors give returning guests something new to try. One customer enjoyed a pumpkin cheesecake donut as a seasonal treat; other reviews mention cool new flavors and beignets. If you prefer a savory start, biscuits show up repeatedly in customer favorites. The biscuits and gravy make a hearty breakfast, while the hot honey chicken biscuit pairs fried chicken with a touch of honey sweetness. Reviewers describe the buttermilk biscuits as fluffy and buttery, with a soft center and lightly crisp exterior. The chicken is described as tender, and the honey butter helps balance the heat without making the dish too spicy.
The menu also suits guests looking for a more substantial meal. Visitors mention a slider combo, a chorizo bacon taco, and the Big Bird, alongside the hot chicken and honey butter combination. One traveler enjoyed the chicken enough to return on three consecutive days, then picked up a warm cinnamon roll to go. That kind of variety makes DISTRICT Donuts Sliders Brew a practical choice when a group has different appetites: one person can choose a donut or beignets, while another opts for biscuits, chicken, tacos, or sliders. Customer reviews also describe the team as welcoming and helpful, adding to the easygoing appeal.
The experience is not limited to the food. Guests mention music and a lively, welcoming feel, and some make a point of returning for breakfast whenever they visit New Orleans. Another 5/5 breakfast in New Orleans! This time we stopped at District Donuts, and once again, the food did not disappoint! We tried the pumpkin cheesecake donut, biscuits and gravy, and the hot honey chicken biscuit. Everything was absolutely delicious! The donut was the perfect fall treat, and the biscuits were incredible. The hot honey chicken biscuit was the perfect combination of sweet, savory, and a little heat! What made our visit even better was the girl working the register. She was so incredibly sweet, friendly, and welcoming! Great food is one thing, but great customer service makes the experience even better. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!
I went here for lunch on my first day in town. I had the slider combo and it was so good. The chicken was especially delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ended up going 3 days in a row. I took a warm homemade cinnamon roll to go the next day. That was moist and delicious but very sweet! The last day was an online pick up order for an egg & cheese on a homemade biscuit. Very easy online ordering and pick up. Yum is all I can say about that large egg sandwich!
we love coming here for breakfast when visiting nola the food, music, and people are always great! the biscuits are filling and they always have cool new donut flavors. the hot chicken and honey butter was trending on instagram, it is on …
Those buttermilk biscuits were heavenly from here! A fluffy, buttery biscuit with a soft centre and slight crisp exterior. The ‘hot’ fried chicken breast wasn’t too spicy, and the honey butter helped balance the spiciness as well. Both pieces of chicken were tender too.
An absolute must for breakfast. Ordered the chorizo bacon taco and the Big Bird. Plus of course beignets. …
