F&F Japanese Grill

Stopped by F&F Japanese Grill in Irving and had a decent experience overall. The portions were generous, which was definitely a plus. The beef was pretty good and had decent flavor, but the chicken was a bit dry. The rice also tasted like it had been sitting for a while and wasn't as fresh as I would have liked. The food wasn't bad by any means, and the serving size gave good value for the price. That said, nothing really stood out or impressed me enough to make it a memorable meal. It's a decent spot if you're in the area and looking for a quick Japanese-style grill meal, but don't expect anything amazing.

Very cool drawings on the wall. Friendly staff. Food was phenomenal. I got a jalapeno popper, which was even better than expected. Also got a chirashi bowl. Well presented, sushi tasted fresh. Great experience.

I had high hopes, but no. It just wasn't good. Got the dumplings and they were dry as a bone because they make them and keep them under a heat lamp for hours. Got the steak and chicken with rice and no veggies. I somehow assumed they'd give me more meat, but instead, I got 2 pounds of rice. The sauce they give with the dumplings isn't good and they only give you a teaspoon of it. The chicken was overcooked and dry. The rice had zero flavor. In all, just bad. I won't return.

I can only speak to delivery. Without adding sauces the food is a 7, steak was pretty bland but the shrimp was very flavorful, noodles were better than the rice. Definitely purchase the spicy mayo and teriyaki. I added an egg to my meal so it brought it to an 8.5 I’d order food from here again.

Out of this world ! I am so very glad i decided to try this restaurant on Uber Eats , and oh was I rewarded with the most delicious meal in a long while. I was so impressed I just had to come and review for a second time . From presentation , to the flavor that exploded in my mouth with every bite I was so happy and delighted and I couldn’t get enough till it was all gone . With all the restaurants and places that no longer put forth effort into flavor or customers satisfaction this by far has to be one of the best places in my heart today . Thank you so much for the hard working hands that put effort into preparing my food , every bite was appreciated and tasty . I can tell there’s passion and history in this flavor and i am in awe that a wonderful place like this actually exists you deserve all the stars .
