I love I love love this store. This is the only one I come to. I’ve been coming here since I moved from Chicago in 2024. Won’t go anywhere else. I send all of my clients here.

I went in for a specific item. The item was priced at $5.99, but when I got to the register it came up to almost $9. At first, The cashier was going to honor the $5.99 For the more expensive item. I told her that I would take the less expensive item if she’s going to honor it for $5.99. All of a sudden, the screen on the register went back to the original price. I asked why did it change, she said, “I’m scared.” Because of her professionalism in the beginning, I assumed she was the owner or manager. She wasn’t. She said she could give me a braider’s discount. It was - $ .80. I told her thank you anyway and purchased it elsewhere. Before writing this review I saw another review that had the same issue as me and Fine Beauty Supply responded basically saying they don’t honor the price even if it is their mistake. Even more reason for me to never spend my money here again. (I purchased here twice before, a couple of months ago and my experience was much better, which is why I returned).. however, that was my last time spending my money at this place. In response to their response: Your store is equipped with cameras, which can confirm that I did not switch any price tags. The item that I selected was marked with a $5.99 sticker and so were the other items on the shelf. For that reason, the suggestion of tag swapping is not applicable in this situation. Additionally, if pricing is determined strictly by your POS system, it raises the question of why price stickers are placed on items at all especially when they do not reflect the correct price. During my previous two visits, I encountered similar discrepancies; however, in those instances, the shelf price was honored without issue, even when it differed from the POS system. At this point, it appears that many of your products are labeled with inaccurate pricing. This creates confusion for customers and leads to inconsistent experiences at checkout. I am not requesting a discount, I simply asked that the price displayed on the item or shelf be honored. I would strongly encourage addressing this issue to ensure accurate pricing and a more consistent customer experience going forward.

I drove 30 minutes to this store, only to find out they didn’t have what I needed. This place should be called a small convenience store, not a beauty supply store. Very disappointing and a complete waste of time.
