I went into the store looking for 100% human hair for boho braids. At first, the customer service seemed good. The lady was in the back on her phone, but she got off and came to assist me, with a pleasant aurora, which I appreciated. However, the experience changed once I started asking questions about the hair. I explained that I was looking for a specific blue package of 100% human bohemian hair. She showed me the package, but when I asked if there was a way to test or verify the hair, since it was being sold as 100% human hair, her response felt dismissive. I asked if I could check the hair, feel it, or test a small strand to make sure it was not synthetic. This hair was around $50 per pack, so I wanted to be sure I was purchasing what was advertised. When I felt and ran my fingers at the tip and smelled the hair, it had a very strong smell that reminded me of hair glue. When I brought that up, she basically said that the package says 100% human hair and said sarcastically, while gathering the hair from the counter "lets not run our fingers through the hair that customers may want to buy mmm kay” with a nervous laugh….i literally ran my fingers at the tip didn't pull that whole hair out the package. I was also here a month ago looking at this particular brand packaged hair obviously it's not that popular. I understand stores have policies, but the way it was said came across as unprofessional and dismissive. When customers are spending that much money on packaged hair, especially hair labeled as 100% human hair, it is reasonable to ask questions and want to make sure the product is what it claims to be. Because of that interaction, I decided not to purchase the hair and left the store. I just wanted to share my experience because customer service and transparency matter, especially when selling expensive beauty products.

When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by Kirsten. She had a pleasant energy and helpful. The store is small, but had a nice selection of products. They also seemed to be reasonably priced for what I was looking for (braiding hair, leave in conditioner).

I would like to recognize Kerstin, the manager at Fine Beauty Supply, for her outstanding customer service and professionalism. She always greets customers with a positive attitude and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone finds exactly what they need.

I absolutely love this beauty supply! We came in for a wig and walked out with so much more. The manager, Kirsten, and her assistant, Jalissia, made us feel right at home.What was supposed to be a quick wig run turned into us meeting the best makeup artist — and she even has her own makeup line right there in the store. Baby, that makeup had me looking like a whole doll.These women rock, and I’m a sucker for Black excellence.

Hi, I had a wonderful experience at Fine Beauty Supply on an Easter Sunday! I recently did a 'big chop' and was struggling to maintain my new pixie cut. I met a young lady named Lisa who was incredibly helpful, sweet, and knowledgeable. She and her mother (whom she called to help) recommended the perfect products specifically the hair wax and spritz—which have completely transformed my styling routine. They took the time to understand what I needed and gave me the confidence to manage my new look. If you need great products and even better customer service, ask for Lisa! 😊
