I worked with Rachele for about a year total both before becoming pregnant and during my pregnancy. She is amazing!! She provided a very holistic experience, making sure my whole body was prepared and performing at its best. She is also incredibly kind and pleasant to be around. I had never done acupuncture before and she made it super easy and very relaxing. I highly recommend her services.

I’m so fortunate to have Rachele at my spa, she played a pivotal role to prepare my body when I decided to freeze my eggs and also gives me amazing tcm tips for my daily lifestyle. I had a traumatic first acupuncture experience elsewhere so that made me not a fan of needles, BUT Rachele is the only person I will ever let needle me and her cupping/gua sha has saved my body a few times. I send so many of my clients to her to compliment our skincare services and they all love her as well!

TLDR: Long post but I love Rachele Lam. Book your appointment now - don’t hesitate!! I first booked an appointment for acupuncture with Rachele in June 2021 for infertility issues that I was experiencing for the previous year+. I had already been to fertility doctors and gone through a few (unsuccessful) medicated attempts at getting pregnant. One issue I had was that my menstrual cycle had been irregular for years prior, (which more than one doctor blew off as not a big deal). My first appointment Rachele spent over an hour with me digging into all of my health history, my diet, my lifestyle, stress factors in life, everything down to my bowel movements (very important!) she wrote me up a whole treatment plan, helped me understand the right diet I should be on, and set me up on herbs and supplements to help my fertility, but also my overall health. Day one of meeting her, Rachele provided 10x the amount of attention and care to me compared to all of the previous doctors I had met with. I started going to Rachele weekly which quickly became one of the highlights of my week. It felt like I was going to therapy/a wellness retreat every time I stepped into the serene acupuncture room. By end of July, I had my first 28 day cycle I had had in years. By early September, I was pregnant. I continued to see Rachele weekly through my pregnancy, and I gave birth to my daughter in May. I cannot express enough how important Rachele and acupuncture was through this journey. While I still went through fertility treatments, I attribute my success in getting pregnant and incredibly smooth/healthy pregnancy to being under Rachele’s care. I have become an acupuncture advocate to all of my friends (and even some strangers). Don’t hesitate to book your appointment!

***I won't lie - I waited a little while to write this review, just to be sure I was providing accurate information to the public, and I can say with full affirmation that Dr. Lam is one of the most talented acupuncturists I have received treatment from. IN SHORT: TRY DR. LAM. I had been in pain for MONTHS, sciatic pain, impinged shoulder, neck and sacral area, and she offered me relief I hadn't felt in a long long time. I am so thankful to have found her office and is now a non-negotiable sanctuary every week - I can't live this crazy life without it. IN LONG: The reasons for this are multifaceted: - Dr. Lam takes an extra initiative in her patients health journey, and this is reflected during her treatment. As she uncovers more about your body, your symptoms, and its progression - she puts in her own personal time to do research, developing the best way in which to administer treatment. - She knows what she's doing. You can just tell, in the subtleties of her movements, how she identifies the muscles and achy joints without you even having to tell her - that she has a grasp of the body and how it functions. - Her time is valuable...and she will spend it on you. If you look at how varied and diverse each treatment is, you can see how she stands much higher than her competition. Using not only needles, but gua-sha techniques, massage, cupping, moxibustion, and so much more, Dr. Lam is able to craft the treatment to your unique style. - Man, woman, child, you name it - she can handle it. Her style is patient. And vast. My partner has come to her, and mentioned he had never felt so "in a cloud" and "light" before. His achy headache, gone. In fact, he wore a smile the whole day...in bliss from the tension that had been relieved hours prior. - She integrates seamlessly with the other practitioners and medical professionals you currently work with. Her humility is part of the reason I come back, because I know at the end of the day, my health is her top concern. - Her approach is gentle. Grounding. Even when she is telling you things that have gone astray, Dr. Lam maintains a positive disposition and is able to offer advice in different areas (diet, exercise, etc) to supplement the treatment's effects. The way she presents the information to you lands with ease, and in this stressful time, it brings comfort to know...you're going be supported. And you're going to be okay. *** this review is coming from a doctorate student in acupuncture, so while it might seem biased, in reality, being in school myself has led me to hold practitioners I receive treatment from to a much higher standard. I find it hard to believe that anyone, coming to Dr. Rachele Lam with any kind of pain, stress, or ailment won't leave at least 30% better than when they came. And that in and of itself is enough to give her a shot. (or a poke ;) THANK YOU DR. LAM!! WE APPRECIATE YOU

My visits to Rachele's practice are the highlight of that week. From the very first session, it was apparent that Rachele is a master of her craft. Not only has she helped maintain my body in peak shape for my first powerlifting meet - something I have been carefully preparing for over 6 months - but she's also treated two chronic injuries: a bicep and a hamstring strain, which have given me great discomfort until I found Rachele. She's patient in understanding my needs, and works together to devise a healing strategy. Beyond acupuncture, I've also benefited from her advice related to nutrition and holistic well-being. If you're considering acupuncture for your healing, recovery, or well-being needs, I can't recommend enough that you give Rachele and a try.
