Sign in to reviewMy acupuncture session with Grace was amazing. It was my first time trying acupuncture, and she made me feel really safe and comfortable throughout the entire experience. The space was incredibly clean, calm, and relaxing. I’m genuinely excited to continue going and to use acupuncture as part of managing my histamine symptoms.
I love going to see Grace. She is so knowledgeable and addresses both body and mind at every visit. She is also very calming which I really need to deal with this crazy world. Super personable and great sense is humor too.
I love this place and have been coming consistently for years but today was a bad day. It took me an hour to get here with 15 mins to spare to find parking. Unfortunately it ended up taking me 30min to find a spot. The receptionist didn’t try to make it work after I arrived 15 mins late. Of course I know they have a policy and I respect that but I also would appreciate some empathy. Last year the same thing happened and they were able to put me in without an issue - the acupuncturist said it was totally fine and she didn’t even need to ask me much to start treatment. I just feel defeated and very sad now that I’ve lost my treatment when I work 80hrs a week and never have a moment to myself. I also have policies for my small business but when I see someone is in desperation I help them out. Beware parking can take more than 30 mins which is absolutely ridiculous (it’s 2pm). Now I’m just sitting in my car on my only day off on the waitlist to see if they can squeeze me in with a cancelation. They won’t even invite me in if a person is a no show. They’re just collecting those payments without treatments and being rigid with people who do show up but 15 mins late. No loyalty to long term customers. They call themselves “community” ha!
I am a firm believer in the power of acupuncture, and it can be hard to find someone who really gets your needs. I’ve seen Janice twice now for mobility limiting hip pain and emotional overwhelm/reset. Wow, both incredibly healing experiences. Janice listens and uses her talent to heal with immense compassion. Highly recommend this place!
My first visit was a community group session with Taylor and it was amazing!! Second time through booked a private session with Rebecca and it was the worst acupuncture I've ever had, and I've seen many practitioners in North America over the past 10 years. She was 10mins late without aclnowledging the fact, didn't ask if I had any time constraints, didn't check my pulse or my tongue, quickly placed maybe 8 cups down in 15 seconds then left the room, came back in put all the needles in in about 30 seconds, verrry rushed, then left the room again for 30 minutes. I had to ding the buzzer to get her to come back to remove the needles, the music had also stopped playing. When I got dressed and left the room I noticed she was giving an interview in the next room which I felt she prioritized over my session. I might see Taylor again with a group session, but never again will I book with Rebecca. Way too expensive for the level of service recieved. Full refund would be great.
