Goodwill - Retail Store and Donation Center is a thrift store in Phoenix, Arizona, at 15633 S 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85048. This location brings together secondhand shopping and a donation center, giving local residents a place to browse pre-owned items or bring in donations. It is open daily, Monday through Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering a broad window for visits throughout the week. Whether you are making a planned stop or simply seeing what is available, the store serves shoppers looking for practical finds and unexpected treasures in south Phoenix.
Customers describe a selection that can include furniture and media items, with reviews mentioning a dining chair set, a recliner, a media center, and video game consoles. Because inventory is secondhand and can change, what you find on one visit may not be available the next time. That changing selection is part of the appeal for people who enjoy browsing: you can look for useful pieces for a home, explore categories at your own pace, and compare items as you shop. Shoppers interested in electronics may want to check the condition and included accessories of an item before buying, as one reviewer noted concerns about consoles sold without cables or controllers.
Feedback about the Phoenix store is mixed, and that range is useful context for prospective visitors. Some reviewers praise the helpful, kind employees, the organized and well-stocked aisles, and the chance to find quality items at prices they consider fair. Others say that pricing on some used goods has felt high compared with major retailers, and one review raises concerns about restroom cleanliness. Experiences can differ by visit and by the particular item, so it can help to inspect purchases carefully and decide whether the condition and price work for you. The location has a 4.1-star rating from 349 reviews.
This Goodwill thrift store may suit Phoenix residents furnishing a room, searching for secondhand household pieces, or enjoying the open-ended hunt for pre-owned goods. It can also be a convenient option for people who want a retail store and donation center at the same location. The long daily hours make it easier to fit a visit around work or other errands, while the changing stock gives browsing a different feel from shopping a fixed catalog. For the best experience, allow time to look through the selection, assess individual items, and confirm that any electronics include the components you need. Visit at 15633 S 32nd St in Phoenix, Arizona, and check current store details before making a special trip.

They have been getting extremely greedy over the last year or two with their pricing on used video game consoles without even having cables or controllers with them. The prices would be fine if they were tested and had controllers, but most of these do not look like they’re fully operational and they’re charging retail if not more than retail on most of these. Here’s some examples of ones that most likely will power on, but have disc tray issues and when asked if they would take a return if they didn’t work, they said they don’t take returns on video game consoles. I think that return policy differs between different stores. But this one has had the highest prices of one I’ve seen lately. It also looks like it’s a growing trend with shoes and clothing line brands that are donations to them. Suggestion work hard to keep all product to a video game console and a testing section and label them tested and fully operational if going to charge those prices. It is hard for customers to self test them when cables are missing or scattered throughout the store to get them to put together to test the console
Absolutely love this place! Everyone is super kind and the employee's are super helpful and seem to care for their community. The prices are fair for the super cool treasures I have found here. I've already gotten a dinning chair set, recliner, and amazing media center I love! This location has become my favorite and honestly only good will I go to.
Outstanding, the largest most well organized and stocked Goodwill of all the ones I've visited. I was truly impressed by the quality items and prices. Thrilled I got what I needed and with senior discount ☺️ there's more sections than …
I honestly don’t understand Goodwill’s pricing anymore. Most items cost just as much, if not more, than what you'd find at Walmart or Target. I’m taking a break from shopping there because it no longer feels like a true thrift store. They’re charging outrageous prices for used, often dirty items that were donated for free. Goodwill is now pricing some items in the hundreds. There’s nothing "good" about Goodwill anymore, it feels more like “At-Your-Will” pricing. All I ever hear about Goodwill is that they're opening more stores. Meanwhile, The Salvation Army is actually out there doing things for the community and it shows. They take pride in what they put on the floor. Items are clean and well presented, unlike Goodwill, which often sells dirty or broken goods. $149.99 for car that "may not work" and dirty. $399.99 for a used coffee brewer. Here’s my advice to Goodwill: consider opening a dedicated electronics thrift store. Test the products to make sure they actually work, and rethink the return policy with high priced items. Why would anyone spend $400 on an item that’s been sitting on the floor, tampered with by countless people, sold “as-is,” and then only eligible for store credit if it needs to be returned. That’s just not reasonable. WE NEED TO DONATE OUR ITEMS TO SALVATION ARMY.
Absolutely filthy restrooms every time we go. I get it’s a second hand store but have some pride in your store. Take 10 minutes to check every so often and ask is this something I would use. There is no excuse for it to be in this matter …
