I noticed that the buffet felt a bit incomplete probably because I came in during lunch. I think there's more dishes available during dinner but I'm not certain. I noticed that some dishes like mushroom and broccoli was not authentic at all, which was disappointing. As for the rest of the food, it was decent. At least the desserts were good though.
As soon as we entered the restaurant, the aroma of authentic Indian spices hit us, of course in a pleasant way! We had ordered Chicken and Vegetable Biryani and both were very good. Both were served along with a tasty and thick raita (a salty yogurt accomplishment along with a Biryani), and it went well. Vegetable Biryani wasn't served with additional gravy, which should have been done. Menu has ample vegetarian options. We were satisfied, being vegetarian. Our Son is a non vegetarian and he too found the NV options Good. They also have buffet option, which looked quite sumptuous, but we choose ala carte. Ambience of the restaurant was good and with pictures of the traditional temples / monuments of South India on the walls and a Tanjore Painting, it gave an authentic Indian feel to the whole atmosphere. Service could have been a bit faster, in terms of food. Otherwise the service was quite prompt. Overall a good experience of Indian flavour in Oklahoma City. Ample parking available.
Ngl was nervous. I’m not one to try new things😅 but my husband swears by this place so we popped in for lunch. And let me tell you, the spices and the flavor of this food was bomb. If you are concerned about trying something new just ask around to see the best options but trust me as a certified picky eater, place is goated:0
Husband had a last minute craving for butter chicken. Food this place on a whim. A+++! It is as clean as the photos show, the man working (slow day, only one person on staff at the time) was beyond attentive and kind, helpful, and accommodating. We were surprised to see it was a buffet. 🤣 we literally just searched "butter chicken" and this was the closest place at the time. But we absolutely loved it! We added it to our 'we'll be back again!' List! May be in a very undesirable location, but clean out your car, double check its locked, and go! So worth it! Service was great and the food was amazing!
I have been going here for over 10 years and it will always be my favorite restaurant, I hold you guys near and dear to my heart. There is always great/fast/friendly service, clean environment, and delicious/consistent food. Their dishes are top notch and they’ll bring you fresh naan right to your table! Never had a bad experience here, you have to try this place out if you haven’t!
