I had my husband‘s wedding band made here 10 years ago, absolutely loved the experience, taking my ideas and putting it into the ring, exceeding every expectation. I came back to reimagine my wedding ring for our 10th anniversary! My first engagement ring came from one of the bigger names, but I wanted this ring to be much better quality and experience! The customer service is fantastic and the quality of work makes me recommend Hinz Jewelers over all the big chain jewelry stores.

HINZ Jewelers are the BEST around. They do quality work whether you need a new custom made piece or jewelry repairs. It’s always a pleasure to deal with someone who really knows the jewelry business. We don’t consider any other option with jewelry needs.

I had a very disappointing experience at Hinz Jewelers. I specifically visited because they claimed to be an authorized TAG Heuer service center, which is extremely important when trusting someone with a quality watch. When I politely asked the owner to provide documentation confirming their authorization, he dismissed the request and said it wasn’t important. I made it clear that it absolutely is—any legitimate authorized service center should be able to verify that without hesitation. Instead of addressing my concern professionally, he refused to provide any proof, then told me he would not work on my watch and asked me to leave the store. The entire interaction felt rude, defensive, and unprofessional. It’s very concerning to encounter a business that appears to misrepresent its credentials and then reacts this way when asked for basic verification. Integrity and transparency matter in this industry, and unfortunately, I experienced neither here. I would strongly advise others to avoid using this business.

Hey owner - You missed the reason for the bad review — it wasn’t because you weren’t interested you HAD Absolutely unacceptable customer service. Husband called ahead to ask if the store would be interested in a pair of earrings. They said yes, and encouraged him to come in. When my husband showed up, the guy working was rude, arrogant, and completely dismissive. He took one glance at the earrings and said “I don’t want them, I’m dealing with customers” — like my husband wasn’t one. No greeting, no explanation, no professionalism. Just attitude. If this is how you treat people who come in after calling ahead, you don’t deserve their business. There are plenty of better, more respectful jewelry stores out there. Don’t waste your time here. And to the “owner” — DO BETTER.

Mr. Hinz is a nice man, but his store reflects the reality of mom and pop jewelers. There is virtually no inventory in the store, and the cost for appraisal and repair is entirely too high.
