It is a convenient stop for downtown workers, families, couples, and anyone looking for a thoughtfully made tea or a casual bite. Customers describe the space as clean, quiet, and welcoming, with a cute aesthetic, a wood counter where you can sip while looking outside, and K-pop and indie music in the background. The overall feel is relaxed rather than rushed, making it easy to drop in for a drink or settle in for a short break.

The menu gives tea drinkers room to find a sweetness level that suits them. Reviewers mention being able to choose among three sweetness options, with the middle setting plenty sweet for one guest and half-sweet a better fit for others. Popular drinks named by customers include Ube Milk Tea, Thai tea, brown sugar swirl, and peach oolong. The peach oolong earns praise for its strong, tasty tea flavor, while Thai tea and brown sugar swirl have both been enjoyed at different sweetness levels. These firsthand favorites offer a useful starting point if you are choosing what to try, while the option to adjust sweetness helps make an order feel more personal.

Honey Pearl Cafe PDX also serves rice balls and onigiri, giving guests a savory option alongside bubble tea. Customers have mentioned Yuzu Tuna Onigiri and freshly made rice balls in cheese corn, mayo tuna, and salmon flavors. One reviewer appreciated that the rice balls were made to order rather than left waiting under heat lamps, and another described a rice ball flight as a satisfying lunch option. The boba flights are also recommended by a customer as a treat. Together, these choices make the cafe a practical stop for a light meal, a shared tasting, or a drink paired with something more filling, without relying on a menu description beyond what guests have shared.

With a 4.7 rating from 92 reviews, the cafe has received positive feedback for its drinks, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and reasonable prices. A parent says their two children enjoy visiting, while downtown workers recommend it as a nearby lunch or refreshment stop. The address places it on SW 12th Avenue, and the listed hours are 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. every day of the week. Awesome Boba shop with a cute #asthetic and good prices. KPop and indie music playing. I got the Ube Milk Tea and the Yuzu Tuna Onigiri. I enjoyed the fact that you can pick 3 sweetness options. I got the middle sweet option and it was plenty sweet, next time I will probably get the least sweet option. The Onigiri came with pickled daikon which was a nice addition. The Onigiri was also served warm which I was not expecting and was a nice touch. They have a punch card you can get that gives you a free drink after a certain amount of punches which I find to be good marketing. One Boba drink was $6.95 and the Onigiri was $3.95 which I find to be a good prices for downtown compared to a lot of these shops nowadays. Will definitely be back.

I like it! My 2 kiddos like it too. So it’s really worth the drive. Place is clean and I love the wood counter where you can enjoy sipping your tea while looking outside. Thai tea 75% sugar is really good. Brown sugar swirl daughter ordered with 100% sugar is another I will recommend but prefer lesser sweetness. And my order of sweet Bee tea with boba taste more tea and is just right. Note that they serve with less ice so ask if you want more and adjust level of sweetness.

I highly recommend this place especially if you work in downtown. I got 3 big rice balls🍙 (cheese corn, mayo tuna, and salmon) for less than $10! They are freshly made to order rather than sitting under the heat lamps for lingerie time or worse cold. I got too full with just 2 of them and saved last one for afternoon snack. This place is now one of top options for my lunch.

My boyfriend and I both got the peach oolong. Wow it was so tasty! My boyfriend got his half sweet and I got regular. I think i should have gone half sweet. But the tea is so strong and tasty!

Quiet, clean, nice service, reasonable prices, and incredible boba. You can tell that the drink menu was intentionally developed with genuine care about flavors and ingredients. Highly recommend the boba flights for a treat and the rice ball flight if you’re looking for a $10 lunch
