Sign in to reviewi’m honestly surprised. so for starters this morning, i came in to simply drop off my bracelet, with the two charms i wanted added that my man got me for my birthday, and my necklace since i was there for it to be cleaned. dropped it off, had a nice experience, and left. come about 5:00pm i received 0 email that my jewelry was ready, or a text. so i called and they said its ready. so i came to get it at like 5:15pm. i get there, walk in, 0 greeting, that’s fine yall r busy. anyways i go to the counter that says “PICK UP” because yeah im picking up my jewelry and the sign says “ PICK UP “. and i stood there. waiting. and waiting. and waiting. while two store associates helped two other (new) people while i was waiting there they even helped someone who had just walked in. still waiting there. two associates looked straight at me, one looked through me, still said nothing. and to my surprise someone else was also picking up. but my assumption based on the sign in the store is i’m at the PICK UP! FINALLY a younger associate comes to help me, asked if i’m ready. i’m like ? hello? i’ve been here for like a while waiting. yeah im ready. she was like have you been helped? NO! she then points out the sign ACROSS THE STORE WHERE YOU WAIT IN LINE. saying that’s where we wait?!!!! THEN GET RID OF THE SIGN THAT SAYS PICKING UP!!! what on earth?! have spent over 2k in these stores. for that? GET RID OF THE SIGN! the audacity to treat me like that’s my fault. i wonder how often yall do that to people. who are waiting at the counter that says PICK UP. and ignore them because others are by a sign for the line? on the opposite side of the store? i walked in through the door, saw the PICK UP sign, and went there. simple. but i guess not that simple. seeing how i was ignored for a while. unbelievable. GET RID OF THE SIGN THEN!!!! something else i’ve noticed. there is straight barbs of metal in my bracelet. there was one in between my birthstone charm, and one placed inside my whataburger french fries charm. and they are definitely out there intentionally. what the heck?
Super friendly staff! Very helpful! I wanted a particular bow ring they didn’t have my size, associate without hesitation located what I was looking for at another nearby store. Called and put it on hold.
We visited on Dec 30th to get charms attached that were gifted for Christmas. We are new to TX and have never heard of James Avery. My daughter got her first bracelet from a Dilliard's in FL. We went to Dilliards at La Canterra to get the charms attached and were just brushed off. We were told we would have to wait 2 weeks and when I said I'm sorry I'm confused I thought you just attached them (because that's how she purchased it) we were told they were overwhelmed by Christmas and can not do it in store. We decided to go to the Rim Location. They were also super busy. However, the customer service is on point! 1. My daughter is 13. She was so anxious just trying to figure out her order. We learned that it's free to add charms but if you change the order later it would cost $5 per charm. The associate was so patient, never made any passive aggressive comments and just reassured her as she saw the line growing. We were given a receipt and told the bracelet would be ready by 5 but we could always call to see if it was ready earlier. The associate also told us to save the bags because they are only given with online purchases and they are so handy! 2. We called and it was ready earlier so we went back to pick it up. My daughter tried to put the bracelet on but couldn't get it to clasp. We realized the placement of a charm was blocking the clasp. We were promptly assisted to get the bracelet fixed. I was happy about this visit because it empowered my daughter to make sure she was happy with her items and the experience was so much better than the Dilliard's mini shop.
This location absolutely saved me after the 1604 store ruined my jewelry. The staff here were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They fixed my broken bracelet without hesitation, relinked my charms, and even transferred them to my stronger bracelet something the other location claimed couldn't be done. They also cleaned my jewelry without me even asking, and it looked brand new! As someone new to San Antonio, it meant a lot to experience real hospitality, especially after a rough start in the city. I've never had issues with JA back in Fort Worth, and this location brought back that same trusted service. I was so impressed, I even made a new purchase thanks to the amazing lady who helped me. I'll definitely be coming back here for all my future jewelry needs!
Was in the area going in on a saturday to an empty store was shocking yet exciting, however the staff made the experience not so exciting. Walking into the store and no greeting.. fine i can live with it. I had my paper ready to go with the charms i would like to purchase. The older ladies and younger girl at the counter see me and go back to sorting charm. Waiting in the empty line for a good while until someone finally approaches to cash me out. Needs better customer service, this is why Dove Creek is my go to.
