Located at 1003 Guerrero St, San Francisco, this neighborhood salon has built a strong reputation for skilled work, friendly service, and practical pricing. With a 4.6 rating from 160 reviews, it stands out as a place where customers feel comfortable coming in for both routine upkeep and more detailed nail appointments. For people searching for nail care in the Mission area or nearby parts of the city, JoJe Nail Spa offers a convenient option with hours that run every day of the week.
Clients often mention the balance of speed and attention to detail, which is especially important in a busy city like San Francisco. Whether you need a simple manicure and pedicure, a gel mani-pedi, or more intricate nail art, reviewers describe the technicians as capable, welcoming, and efficient. One customer specifically recommended Jenny for more complicated designs, noting how well she brings ideas to life. Others shared that even for simpler services, the team is skilled at getting clients in and out without sacrificing quality. That makes JoJe Nail Spa a practical choice for people fitting self-care into a workday, weekend errand run, or last-minute appointment.
Beyond nail services, reviews also point to added touches that make the experience feel more complete. Guests have mentioned hand and arm massage, foot exfoliation, and foot wax during a gel mani-pedi, along with waxing services available at the salon. These details suggest an experience that goes beyond a basic polish change and leans into comfort and care. Customers also highlight the staff’s kind communication, describing them as sweet, helpful, and thorough. For many people, that welcoming atmosphere matters just as much as the finished nails, especially when choosing a neighborhood Nail Salon they plan to visit regularly.
Another reason JoJe Nail Spa earns repeat business is value. Multiple reviewers commented on reasonable prices, and one long-time customer said they had been returning for four years because of the consistent results. In local search terms, that matters for anyone comparing nail salons in San Francisco, CA and trying to find a place that feels reliable instead of hit-or-miss. The combination of experienced technicians, same-day appointment availability noted by some guests, and a broad schedule from Monday through Sunday makes this salon easy to consider for regular maintenance or occasional pampering.
For locals, commuters, and visitors who want polished nails in San Francisco, JoJe Nail Spa offers a straightforward, trusted choice. It is especially well suited for clients who appreciate friendly service, efficient appointments, and the option to request both classic and design-focused nail work in one neighborhood salon.

Sign in to reviewExcellent all around! If you want more complicated designs, ask for Jenny. She is fantastic at bringing your designs to life! If I’m doing more simple mani/pedi, everyone in the salon is skilled and will get you in and out in a pinch. I’ve also gotten waxing done here too :) The prices are very reasonable for me, and they typically last me 3-4 weeks.
I’ve been going here for 4 years and keep coming back for a reason. Can’t say enough how skilled these technicians are — fast, sweet, and amazing attention to detail and omg the price! I’ve gotten my nails done all over the country but this place continuously beats every place I’ve been to. I always get french gel manicure and they easily last over a month (until my nail grows out basically) plus I always get tons of compliments on the style!
She was very good and helpful. She talks nice and thorough. Overall I enjoyed my service there.
Called on a Wednesday and got a convenient same-day appointment for gel mani-pedi. The staff was very friendly and I felt welcome. The service took about 1 hour total and I’m super happy with the results! There was some hand/arm massage, foot exfoliation, and a foot wax, which all felt nice. I’ll be back. Btw I had gel on my toes (from another salon) and regular glitter paint on my hands and they removed both without an extra charge. My total charge was $76 (slight cash discount — I was quoted $80 over the phone, which I assume is for credit cards).
I really wanted to like this place. I even drove about 10 minutes to get there. Upon walking in there was only 1 other patron. They told me to pick my color and I was rushed to come to take a seat so I settled with what I had in my hand. The price for a "regular" mani-pedi was $35, which is a pretty good price, but they only did the bare minimum basics. They might have scrubbed my feet once - back and forth. No massage as advertised. I also asked for a callus treatment which was $10 extra, which they charged me for, but did not get. I wish I said something when he said my total was $45. The paraffin wax was on my feet for maybe 2 minutes before she took it off and rushed to paint my toes. When I was leaving, I asked that she clean up the polish around my toes, especially my pinky toes, because it really looked like I painted them myself, with the polish all over my skin. You'll see in the picture how much she got off my skin. She did ask if I like the color when she painted one of my fingernails, in which I didn't. Luckily I chose another color for my toes and just had her use that because when I asked for a different color (purple), she said, oh this is purple - but it was more of a deep pink. So I settled and also didn't say anything. The total time that they spent from start to finish painting my nails was under 30 min. I expected at least 45 minutes. They also were not too friendly and welcoming, and I believe I am and always greet and talk with people. Even though this service was poor, I still tipped 20%. I wish I did not. I'm still going to give them 2 stars, as this is a small business, but I really think my rating should be a 1 star.
