It’s run by a nice Korean family and they always welcome you with a smile. Service is good but you need to be assertive if you’re at the bar because Jay, the chef, is usually busy with everybody’s roll. He’s a nice guy that’ll try to remember your name if you come often enough. The Korean television shows that pop on are great. The crowd favorite is Sponge. It’s an educational game show where they do all sorts of experiments and some of which you can even do yourself. It’s great and a lot of the people go crazy over it. The atmosphere is nice and the food is great too. I suggest the Chicken Katsu and the Salmon Sashimi. There’s also a huge selection of customer made rolls on the wall. One of the interesting ones is the Sushi Pizza. The Spicy Tuna Handroll is super tasty and tastes very fresh. Just watch out for fraternities and sororities from SDSU coming in for sake bomb specials. " 2
