They helped facilitate renovations like paint and carpet before going onto the market and are very responsive through text and email. They also have a very responsive team that helped guide me through the process of gathering paperwork and filling out forms. I ended up with a strong cash offer within a few weeks.
Tim McMullen of Kinoko Real Estate was a pleasure to work with and in a very short and unexpected time, delivered us a home in San Francisco we previously only (and had literally) fantasized about. Tim was initially referred to us by a friend to begin fulfilling our dream of living in San Francisco. After an initial Zoom meeting, he started sending us homes that matched what we were looking for. He was flexible in scheduling our first home tours of the city and took us around town for the day. The first home he showed us in person was almost *exactly* what we were in the market for. To have a real estate agent not only understand exactly what you’re looking for right off the bat, but having him add specific San Francisco knowledge and realistic expectations to your ideals and hopes is priceless. We strapped in for the ride of searching and assumed we would be in home search for months on end, playing the real estate game and getting outbid over and over. This ended up not being the case and in two short months, we not only began our search but closed on a home. We weren’t local at the time, so we would send him potential listings we had seen online to check out for us. To one potential home, his response was, “I would not let you live here.” Not only is he honest, but we always felt like he had our best interests at heart and was genuinely interested in helping us find our dream home in a price we could afford. He was tactful in steering us away from properties that looked too-good-to-be-true or were not really what we wanted. He also referred us to a lender initially that was helpful in explaining our financial options. We ended up not being able to work with him due to the type of home we ended up purchasing, but would have been happy to work with Arjun Dhingra and his team if we were able to. Throughout offers to close, Tim filled in roles that should have been filled by others from our lender to title company. We always felt completely comfortable reaching out to him and he was always very communicative and available for our needs, even when closing took longer than expected and had some twists and turns. Tim is a super down-to-earth guy and really enjoyable to spend time with too. He’s unpretentious, flexible, communicative and always on top of things. He was super trustworthy and spent lots of time reading contracts and TIC agreements to ensure we were getting what we should be. End result: We purchased a TIC in arguably one of the best neighborhoods in San Francisco over a hectic holiday season (even while on an international trip). We love it as much as he said we would and are living the lifestyle we had envisioned. We would not hesitate to refer Tim to our closest family or friends who are looking for a stellar real estate agent in San Francisco that has been ridiculously fun and easy to work with.
Nini and Kevin did an outstanding job on supporting and sale of my home in Mission Bay.
