Kim Dung Jewelry is a jewelry store at 4228 E Belknap St in Haltom City, Texas, serving shoppers looking for jewelry in the Haltom City and greater Fort Worth area. Its location in TX 76117 makes it a local option for people who prefer to browse pieces in person, ask questions directly, and consider jewelry at their own pace. The store is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM and is closed on Mondays.

Gold jewelry is a notable part of the conversation around Kim Dung Jewelry. Customer feedback specifically mentions attractive pieces and the difficulty of finding 24K gold in Texas, with one reviewer describing the selection as a welcome discovery. Another review references a 14K Cuban-link chain, indicating that gold purity and gold-chain transactions are among the topics customers bring to the store. For shoppers seeking gold jewelry in Haltom City, it can be useful to visit with a clear idea of the karat, weight, style, and budget they have in mind.

The experience here appears to be highly personal and can vary by visit. Reviews offer mixed perspectives: some customers praise the jewelry, the owner, and prices, while others report dissatisfaction with communication, attentiveness, or the way they were treated. The business has a 3.5 rating from 59 reviews, so prospective visitors may want to read recent feedback and approach their visit prepared to discuss their needs clearly. A calm, detailed conversation about the item and its terms can help create a more informed shopping experience.

For those evaluating gold value, it is sensible to do a little preparation before arriving. If buying, ask about the item’s karat, weight, pricing, and any details that matter to your decision. If discussing a chain or other gold item you own, know its specifications and compare options based on current market conditions. A customer review describes receiving an offer for a 14K chain that did not meet their expectations, which is a reminder that offers, pricing methods, and individual expectations can differ. Taking time to compare and ask direct questions is especially useful for higher-value jewelry decisions.

Kim Dung Jewelry may suit local shoppers who want to explore gold jewelry, including hard-to-find 24K pieces mentioned in customer feedback, and who value visiting a neighborhood jewelry store in person. It can be a practical stop for buyers from Haltom City, Fort Worth, and nearby North Texas communities looking to inspect pieces before making a purchase. Check the current hours before heading over, bring any relevant item details or questions, and allow time to assess whether the selection, pricing, and service style feel right for you.

The husband has a very bad temper and attitude. I do not recommend this store to anyone looking to buy gold. The customer service is extremely poor

The jewelry is nice, but the customer service is very disappointing. They don’t listen to customers properly and often speak rudely with a grumpy attitude. We are paying for the jewelry, not receiving it for free.

Update (2/23/25): Bad. Went today to sell them my JAXXON Cuban link 14K 2.7mm 24” chain. It weighs 13.2g. Gold spot price today is $94/g(2939/oz). So 14k melt price would = $727. There are calculators for this. The man offered me $450. I will not be coming back to this place. I left and sold my chain for $635 instantly at another gold shop. Now I understand the bad reviews and adding one of my own above. Went there this morning to see if I could exchange a 24K pendant that my wife bought for me few months back in China. The lady that greeted me was very friendly and professional. She gave me fair spot market gold price for the pendant(less a few% of course), and I got a 24K gold cross for a fair price. Very satisfied. Not sure why all the bad reviews.

So hard to find 24K in Texas, so this place was a dream come true. Beautiful pieces and a very nice owner. Great prices! We'll definitely be coming back

Look at the reviews, folks. The Asian names leave good reviews, the Americans leave reviews saying they were poorly treated. Rings true to me. If the owners are reading- I WAS going to come here, but it's clear I would be treated like trash. Let this be a lesson on how you treat customers.
