Always a place to get batteries replaced. I even bought a beautiful seiko watch while I was there. Many years of doing business with Leal family.

I have lived in this area for 31 years and I'm all about supporting the local stores. I needed a battery for my watch and looked up Google and Leal's was first on the list as far as distance. I came by the man was very respectable and polite. I told him my problem and he fixed it in about 3 mins. He fixed something the previous owner of my watch did wrong for free and the battery was only 12 bucks. I recommend this place to anyone needing a battery watch replaced for 12 bucks. Unless its a super fancy watch then it might be more.

Watch your Time! Repairs and clock purchases come on by while you have time

Older guy who actually repairs the guts in watches and clocks. Sometimes irregular hours but does a fine job! Lots of clocks for sale too. Just got a great deal $100 on an huge antique clock that works great!

2 elderly people own and run this store. A man and his mother. I spoke to them at first, over the phone, about my mantle clock which was losing time. Son told mom he could do an adjustment to the regulator which would have the clock ready in 2-3 days, as opposed to a year long regular repair, for about $30. I went by about a week later to drop off the clock but they didn't seem to remember the conversation about my clock. I reiterated that it should be ready soon, right, per our conversation? The faster fix? They looked like they weren't sure. I called back in 2 days and asked when it would be ready and he said it was ready. When I got there he charged me $10. I asked if he had worked on it and he said yes and that's all he said. I asked for a receipt and he didn't give me one. When I got home the clock was running the same as before. In fact it lost 5 minutes in the first hour! Now it's exactly the same as it was before I took it in. I believe I was ripped off by Mr. Leal who knew he didn't fix it or even work on it, but wanted me out of the way and wanted to pocket a quick $10. When I called back about the failure of the repair they said I could get a regular repair which would involve taking it apart and oiling it, etc. for about $270 and it would take up to a year to be done.
