I recently came across an article listing the best bakeries in Oklahoma City, and Ling’s Cakery was on it—so while we were in the Asian District, we decided to go find out why. It was only a quick drive away, and we were inside in no time. Not knowing what to expect, we were warmly greeted by Jack, who walked us through their specialty desserts. He mentioned that his wife, Ling, is the baker—and wow, does her talent speak for itself. I ordered the Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Mille Crepe, and my wife went with the Chocolate Mille Crepe. Both were absolutely phenomenal. Yes, the prices were a bit higher than I anticipated, but the quality, craftsmanship, and flavor easily justified every penny. If you’re a dessert lover or simply want to treat yourself to something special, I highly recommend giving Ling’s Cakery a try. A true gem in OKC!

Absolutely love this place with my whole heart. The coffee is so good and their pastries are the best. The egg tartes are to die for: the crust is so buttery and flakey and the filling is perfect. They have the only mochi I have ever liked. It’s fresh, no frozen. My favorite is the strawberry. Most mochi, I have a hard time with the dough as it is somewhat grainy in texture due to being a rice dough but not with Lings. It’s so fresh and perfect I love it so much. I crave it all the time. The cakes are absolutely lovely. They’re not overly sweet and the texture is amazing. The people are also absolutely lovely and amazing and sweet. Ling especially is such a lovely lady and such a delight. I wish I could come way more often than I do but money is a little tight so we are trying to be more fiscally responsible. They deserve all of the love and support. I want their business to absolutely thrive!

A few months ago, when searching for nearby bakeries, I stumbled across Ling's Cakery. Even though we didn't get to visit that time, Ling's never left the back of my mind. I'm so glad we got to to visit and finally try out their delicious desserts. It's a small, cozy, and clean space with a polite and helpful staff. Every dessert looks delicious. We settled on the Strawberry Cake Box, the Chocolate Mille Crepe, and the Japanese Cheesecake. We didn't share with one another, because honestly each individual's dessert was so good we couldn't bring ourselves to lol. The Strawberry Cake box comes with strawberries, blueberries, cake, and whipped cream layered. The cake is soft, spongy and has a light, sweet taste. The strawberries and blueberries are fresh and delicious, with the top layer having a light dusting of sugar. Wonderful. My son described the Japanese Cheesecake as unique and delicious. He enjoys all cheesecake, but this one had a different texture. Lighter than ordinary cheesecake was part of his description. I didn't get alot of him as he demolished the rest. The Chocolate Mille Crepe was enjoyed by my oldest. We've never had a dessert like this and he was pleasantly surprised by it. It's layered with thin delicate chocolate crepe. He remarked that while it looks like milk chocolate it's a richer chocolate. I would say the highest compliment goes to this dessert, as my son is autistic and has a condition called ARFID. New textures and tastes can be a struggle, but he greatly enjoyed this. We're looking forward to our next visit and hope to try the mochi next time.

Best Mochi in town by far! I didn’t like mochi until I tried Ling’s. Also love their cupcakes, egg tarts, crepe cakes, cake boxes, everything is so good. Also have great coffee to go with everything. Absolutely love this place and the family that runs it is so kind and welcoming.
