Lotus Nail Salon

I really want to give Lotus a higher rating, but I just can't under the circumstances. I went in for a same day appointment for Gel X extensions with French tips. Initially a woman I assume was the owner handled my appointment as she didn't have a name tag. Partway through my appointment she left, and Helen took over. Unfortunately Helen really struggled to get the French tips even left-to-right. She redid her own work several times, and eventually the first woman returned and completed the appointment. She was on the phone with her insurance company, which I find rather unprofessional. She also struggled with the French tips, and also had to redo them multiple times. I'm still not thrilled about the end result. The appointment had already taken over 2 hours, and I had other plans for the evening. Another issue was that they cut my cuticles entirely too close and too roughly, causing me to bleed pretty badly. The only reason I am giving Lotus two stars is that they gave me a discount for the long appointment length. Even with the discount I paid ~$75 for a full set of Gel X with Fench tips.

I was a walk in and they were super friendly, super nice, they changed my polish and went above and beyond with a quick little hand rub even though I asked for the most basic polish change. Even better, my nails look perfect, and I'm super type-A when it comes to my nails, so that's a huge compliment coming from me! Super happy and definitely coming back again in the future!! Also, I walked in wanting a specific color another salon didn’t have and they had it! Very happy. 😊

Traveling through town and found this great little salon, Lotus Nails! They were able to get me on short notice. I appreciate that the technician was quick, clean & professional. I’ll definitely stop by again next time I’m in town!

Edit: Still love this Salon for basic gel manicures, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend for designs :) Fiona can do basic things, but more complicated designs don’t always result in what I hope for. I got my old gel manicure removed and got a fresh one done for $45 before tip, and I will 100% be coming back here. Helen did my nails and she was very quick, but so mindful of details - for example, she made sure to not catch my skin while she filed my nails, the shape is perfect, she would clip off any bumps after each round in the UV pod, she painted the edges of my nails so they wouldn't do that annoying peeling thing, and she used two layers of top coat. The salon itself is such a good use of the space they have - they don't have the traditional spa chairs, but it allows them to have more free space, and it still feels upscale because you're sitting in a comfy lounge chair.

I can’t recommend Lotus Nail Salon enough! Fiona and her team are gentle, detail-oriented, and always so kind. I frequently bring my clients here because of the exceptional service they provide. They are always on trend, and they even carry unique options like Korean nail polish, which adds a special touch to the experience. Every visit is a pleasant experience, thanks to their great atmosphere and attention to detail. If you're looking for a top-notch, stylish nail salon, Lotus is the place to go!
