We loved this place and have ordered many times. Unfortunately tonight we found a dead bug in our vermicelli bowl (luckily had not eaten any yet). We suspect it was from the lettuce not being washed properly, and had to throw out all of the food. Really unfortunate.

first of all, this is probably the friendliest vietnamese restaurant i've been to in all of California, and i've been to a lot of restaurants ! i was leaving the beach, passed by while driving, and decided to park, drop in and check out their menu. i spent some time chatting with Sammy (the owner) and her son. while i was waiting for my to-go food, they gave me 2 BIG slices of watermelon and a sample of their pho bo vien (beef meatball soup). i didn't expect it at all and it was probably the warmest welcome i've received from any restaurant. the butterfly shrimp and strawberry lemonade here are great. if you like your drink sweetness at 0-25% like me, ask them to adjust the amount of strawberry preserve in the drink. also, they speak vietnamese and cantonese here. special thanks to sammy and the other staff - will definitely drop by again the next time i'm in the area :) <3

Crowded on a Sunday at 8pm is always a good sign - no wait though. Excellent pho (we had the chicken and the five spice chicken) and quick service with a nice and chill atmosphere. Definitely coming back
