I scheduled an appointment here while visiting town after seeing so many positive reviews. I had never tried dip powder nails before, so I figured this would be a good place to start after learning that you don’t need to cure it + durability. I was the first customer of the day and they also offered a pedicure when I arrived, and although I hadn’t booked one, they said they had time. The pedicure was fine, but looking back, I should have just stuck with the manicure or just not come at all. My nail tech, Tommy, barely spoke which I didn’t mind but what started off seemingly soft and detailed ended up being sloppy and rough. Since I don’t have much experience with dip powder or nail salon routines, I didn’t realize how off the process was until I showed and talked to a friend afterward who regularly gets her nails done. There were several issues: • Cuticle care was only done after the dip powder and color, which I now understand is not the correct order and not sanitary. • The cuticle trimming itself was extremely rough. He pulled at the skin rather than trimming carefully. I didn’t notice until later that I had small areas of bleeding and loose cuticles still. • The handling of the powder was especially concerning. He poured powder into a tray, and when half was spilled onto the towel, swept it back into the bowl (which was what was used on me) and then poured everything back into the main container at the end. I later learned this is not sanitary. Additionally, • The dip powder was applied unevenly and ended up thick with visible bumps. • The polish was also messy and got on the sides of my fingers. I was trusting the process until the end but by the time I realized how poorly things were going, I didn’t even know what to say and just sat through it because I honestly just wanted to leave rather than ask them to start over. At the end, he told me “Your nails are very short, very difficult.” I’m aware my nails are short, but if it was going to be a challenge, I wish he had said so before starting or recommended something else instead like a simple gel manicure. The total (dip powder + gel pedicure) was $119 dollars + $20 tip, and I left feeling really disappointed and just scammed. I had such high hopes but was so let down with unflattering nails. I’m just glad I didn’t choose too dark of a color. They have an ATM machine at the counter to pay so just be aware if you do visit, to just have cash ready. I had hoped for a good experience based on the reviews, but this visit missed the mark for me and reminded me why I don’t visit nail salons.

The staff was very kind and sweet, but they struggled with design. They kept wiping the cross away and ended up curing a smear of polish in. When brought it to their attention they didn’t do anything to fix it. 3 hours later and left with a permanent flaw in the nail 🥺 Update: Sammy reached out and asked me to come back where she totally fixed and redid my nails !!!! Love the new ombré. Much better🥰. If you go for designs ask for Sammy

10/10 would recommend to anyone! I got a full set of Gel X (with a soak off of a previous set) for $85 + tip. I’m not local to the area otherwise I would be a regular customer. I came on a Monday morning and they were not busy at all. The salon was clean and spacious, and had a generally pleasant atmosphere. My nails were in pretty rough shape when I came in from a previous full set I had gotten elsewhere. Britney took her time and was extra careful with my nails because she could see how damaged they were. I get Gel X nails regularly, every 4 weeks or so, and you can tell when someone is good vs. bad at doing this type of nail extension. She was very good at the application. She had exactly the shape and length I wanted which is always a good sign. (Often times salons will only carry one size and length of gel x tips, and then they’ll make them they shape you want but they’re not always uniform). I’m very happy with my nails. I have to have them done a specific way for work, and they’re perfect.

Although I really appreciate how sweet they are.. unfortunately their technique to use a very coarse filer ended up cutting my finger today. I haven’t experienced this aggressive filing in other nail salons. Not sure why they don’t just use a machine to remove gel color. My fingers are all cut up after paying $100 for a manicure which is really upsetting.

Sammie the owner is incredibly hospitable. I left my wallet there for a week and they just held it honestly for me! The benefits of having a regular shop. The consistency of excellence is outstanding. They also care about your nail health! My nails have gotten much stronger after too much acrylic use over the years and using builder gel has been great. Not to mention my nails are utter perfection every time.
