Monster Tea

If you're looking for a fun outing with your Pokémon-loving kiddo, I have to recommend Monster Tea in Portland! Today I took my son there, and he absolutely loved it. Every Pokémon-themed drink comes with a Pokémon card, which immediately made his day. They have delicious boba teas, jellies, s'mores waffles, flavored waffles, and so many fun treats. Everything was reasonably priced too! The shop itself is small, cozy, and incredibly welcoming. They even have Japanese-style arcade claw machines, which made it feel like such a fun little adventure. As an autism mom, I love finding places where my son can truly enjoy himself, and this was one of those places. Seeing his smile all afternoon made the trip completely worth it. If you're ever in Portland with a Pokémon fan, this place is definitely worth checking out. We'll absolutely be going back! 💙🎮🧋✨

I have never been so disappointed in any sort of place serving food in my entire life. It took fifteen minutes to get what very obviously tastes like pre-made ingredients. The amount of flavour in the bubble drinks is equivalent is about a tablespoon of juice and its not actually bubbles its flavorless squares of slightly crunchy jelly. Not only are the drinks horrible and overhyped but the claw machines they have set up are super scammy. They will either glide to a stop when you stop over the lever or slam down when you obviously missed it and the actual claw machine doesn't close the claw until its already risen back up. I am genuinely ashamed to say I wasted money here.

Great themed boba spot with lots of seating and some claw machines that do accept bills... Parents, be prepared 🤣 My kiddo got lucky and a friend won a Pikachu immediately and gave it to her. I would've definitely asked for less sweet on the boba.... Also note, they don't have restrooms for customers and they'll direct you to the New Seasons nearby.

Cute bubble tea shop with cute decor. My friends and I stopped in after dinner to grab a refreshing boba drink. Drinks were good, but staff was not friendly at all. They didn’t even greet us when we walked in and just stood at the counter. …

This is such a cute boba shop. I love the fun theme. It's very clean and the tea was also very good. They have the typical options and it was a fun experience. I highly recommend for a fun place to get your boba. We did not try any food.
