Pharmacy.com 82nd Neighborhood Pharmacy is a pharmacy serving the Portland, OR community at 5253 SE 82nd Ave Unit 27, Portland, OR 97266. It offers a neighborhood option for people seeking prescription support or help finding over-the-counter medication. Customer experiences suggest that the pharmacy can feel more personal than a large chain: one reviewer appreciated staff who came from behind the counter to help locate an OTC product, along with shorter waits during their visits. Another reviewer was glad to have an independent pharmacy nearby and valued the range of languages spoken by staff. These comments point to an experience that may suit people who appreciate face-to-face assistance and a local setting.

Prescription communication and refill coordination are important considerations here. Reviews describe customers using the RxLocal app and text messages to submit refills or ask for updates, but several report delays, missed responses, or confusion between conversations and staff members. Some reviewers also say prescriptions took longer than expected or were difficult to track. Those accounts are not every customer’s experience, but they are useful context if you rely on a medication arriving by a particular date. When timing matters, consider confirming that a request has been received and asking how best to follow up. Clear, direct communication may help set expectations before you make a trip.

The pharmacy’s strengths, as described by some customers, include friendly interactions, assistance with locating nonprescription products, and a neighborhood-scale alternative to corporate pharmacies. Reviewers also mention that the business has been going through changes, including adjustments to hours and the training of new staff. That context may help explain why experiences vary, though it does not guarantee how any particular visit or prescription will go. The overall public rating is 3.3 from 27 reviews, reflecting a mixed picture: some customers praise the service and local feel, while others raise concerns about organization, response times, and prescription handling. Read the latest feedback and contact the pharmacy directly if you need details about current procedures.

Located on SE 82nd Avenue in Portland, Pharmacy.com 82nd Neighborhood Pharmacy may be worth considering if you prefer a nearby pharmacy where staff can help you look for an OTC item in person. It may also appeal to customers who value a local independent option and multilingual staff. If you are transferring a prescription, requesting a refill, or depending on a time-sensitive medication, verify the status and expected timing directly rather than relying only on an app or text exchange. Business hours are not provided in the available listing, so check with the pharmacy before visiting. With those practical steps, you can decide whether its neighborhood convenience and personal assistance fit your needs.

Not your average pharmacy! The customer service is amazing here. There are never any outlandishly long lines, the staff will come from behind the counter to show you medications you need if you’re looking for something OTC. I get my medication here because corporations are literally killing people so i try to do as much as i can to support local businesses.

I wish I had paid heed to the low score. Very slow and poor communication. They use a text message system as an official communication channel but they dont document the messages. Most times they never respond. If they do, its another employee who has no idea about your text exchanges. I didnt think anything could be worse than CVS but sheesh. Working with them is like pulling teeth

Not a great experience. They left me in a lurch multiple times, losing prescriptions or taking unreasonably long to fill them. All around poor communication and organization. For example: They use the rxlocal app for notifications and filling prescriptions, but every time I submitted refills using the app they told me “oh, we’re still learning how to use it” so the orders were delayed by several days. Had to go without my meds for weeks due to their errors. Glad I found a better spot than this.

Im excited to have a local independent pharmacy nearby. They are going through some changes, and had to adjust hours and bring on and train new staff. Apart from those bunps I'm overall happy. Love how many languages they speak! However there's been a couple times where there just felt like a level of disorganization and confusion that had been frustrating. Its happened about 2 times in the 8 months ive been a customer.

Everyone is nice there but honestly very frustrating to work with. They always say the pharmacist is going to call me with an update if I inquire about a prescription, yet no one ever calls me. I will call in asking if my prescription will …
