We switched to Ralph’s from a big box pharmacy’s years ago and never cease to be amazed at their customer service! …

I have never left a bad review for a business until today… After two days of phone calls waiting for a prescription to get filled I was told last minute they would not fill the medication. I tried to support a small business and change to Ralph’s but nobody was knowledgeable enough to tell me two days ago they wouldn’t fill it once received. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I’ve been coming to Ralph’s for several years. Initially I had great interactions but the last few months the staff had been extremely rude. My first issue was a few months ago, the urgent care called in a prescription for my daughter. I called Ralph’s to see how long it would take to get filled. She said at least an hour bc they were very busy. I said, “not a problem, I’ll come by later in the day.” I stopped by on my way to a soccer game and was told it was still not ready. I asked if there was an issue bc I’d been told it’d take an hour and it’s been 5 hours? She snapped at me, saying they were really busy. I said I understand that, but I need to get my daughter started on her antibiotic. She said it’d be at least 30 minutes. I said I don’t have time to wait bc we have somewhere to be and I didn’t think I could get back before they closed. She said, “that’s not my problem”. Second issue, my dr called in a prescription, I got notified within a couple hours that it was on back order. I called the pharmacy and she explained the situation, told me they had no way to know when they would get the medicine back in stock. She also told me that due to the drug class they could not transfer the prescription and my dr would have to call it into another pharmacy, but also I could have issues bc again due to the drug class pharmacies probably would not fill it if I didn’t have an existing relationship. I said, I understand and asked if they could/would notify me when the medicine came back in stock? She said she would write it down on a sticky note to check and let me know when it was back in stock. A couple weeks went by and I didn’t hear anything. I sent a message on the app asking if it was back in stock, but never got a response. I called to ask if it was back in stock, after looking the tech, said yes it’s in stock but the prescription expired and my dr would have to re call it in. I said, “Are you serious? Why did no one let me know it was back in stock?” She said, “you could have called and check on it?” I said, “yes but I was told I would be notified when it came in.” She said very condescendingly, “we have a lot of drugs that are out of stock, do you expect me to check every day for one customer?” I said, “guess not” and hung up on her. So much for customer service, she offered no apologies or anything. Pretty much blamed me. I’ll be finding a different local pharmacy that hopefully treats their customers better.

Pharmacy staff was very nice and helpful. Store area had lots of pretty items to browse while I waited. There was a coffee and sandwich counter that looked fun, but it was closed in the evening when I was there.
