Rozi Food Market (Afghan Market Bakery &Restaurant افغان مارکیت ) is an Asian grocery store and restaurant at 10643 N 43rd Ave in Phoenix, AZ. It brings grocery shopping and a casual meal together in one neighborhood stop, with Afghan and broader Middle Eastern and Asian market offerings reflected in visitors’ experiences. For anyone looking to browse a market and sit down to eat in the same visit, Rozi offers a practical, welcoming option in Phoenix.

The food is a key reason reviewers say they would return. Kabuli Palau, also called Qaboli Palaw in one review, stands out as a favorite, with diners praising its seasoning, flavor, and tender preparation. Bolani and Tikkah kabbab are also named as especially enjoyable choices. Shopping is part of the appeal, not just an extra before or after dining. Visitors describe a selection of unique market foods, dried fruits, nuts, and fresh bread, and one reviewer was particularly pleased to discover the range of desserts. The market-and-cafe format suits people who want to explore ingredients or snacks they may not find in a standard grocery trip, as well as diners seeking a casual meal. If you enjoy Middle Eastern or Asian markets, Afghan food, or trying a dish you have not had before, this combination may be a good fit.

The atmosphere sounds modest and informal rather than polished or elaborate. A customer describes humble seating in a small, tucked-away market, while other reviewers say they felt welcomed and appreciated the friendly experience. That makes Rozi a natural choice for a relaxed lunch or dinner, a spontaneous stop while running errands, or a visit with someone curious about Afghan dishes and market foods. I recently visited Phoenix, Arizona for work and was looking for a Mediterranean restaurant. I came across this place, which operates both as a grocery store and a restaurant and it turned out to be a hidden gem. The food was absolutely amazing. The Qaboli Palaw was one of the best I’ve ever had. I loved it so much, I even took to my hotel two large orders of their mixed potato and vegetable Bolani. Everything was delicious!

Absolutely delicious. Bolani and Tikkah kabbab were amazing. Give this place a shot. It's a little hole in the wall market with very humble seating, but you won't regret the experience of the food.
