Sign in to reviewThis is a great clinic. Along with having a good medical & nursing staff, they are on top of prescriptions & refills. It seems like everything needs preauthorizations these days, but if I run into any issues, I just text the nurse and it is normally fixed same day or next day.
I went here for care a few years ago and really enjoyed my experience. It was very trans competent and they helped me navigate an insurance issue getting PrEP very quickly. I know they've gone through a lot of changes with management recently and have heard from some employees it's gotten a lot better for staff too. Posting my positive review to hopefully boost their ratings as they do really important work for the local communities.
Worst clinic I’ve ever been to. Right in the middle of drug zombie land in the Tenderloin. It’s like a nightmare. Dangerous and horrible. None of these people working there should even have jobs. They’re terrible human beings. You won’t even be allowed to see an actual real medical doctor. You will be assigned an ancient nurse who should have retired long ago, nodding and pretending to listen to you as she writes down nothing for your actual medical record. She will not even physically examine you when you are sick. Doesn’t look in your ears or throat, or even listen to your heart. Neglect of even the most basic things. Their major negligence of all my concerns, and lack of proper medical testing and treatment caused me to be hospitalized with sepsis twice in six months. I almost died. You will wait forever for appointments, referrals, test results, and med refills. I had a breast biopsy for abnormalities months after my mother died of breast cancer. I sent desperate message after pleading phone call begging this old doddering woman posing as doctor for my results. After weeks and many tears, she finally posted them online. Not even carrying enough to tell me in person. This clinic should not have a license to operate. Through direct negligence of ignoring my requests, she didn’t even offer me the common courtesy of a phone call. They are obsessed with gays and sex changes to the exclusion of other categories of patients. They support promiscuous, dangerous behavior and constant giveaways of free drug paraphernalia to down and desperate, sick homeless people. They are a huge source of encouraging at-risk people to further endanger their lives, mental well-being , family relationships, and the safety of the city at large. Do yourself a big favor and go but here. Anywhere else. Even the exam rooms and restroom stink and are always filthy.
I really love this place. My doctor is so nice and helpful. The other staff members are very friendly and remember you by name. They make it a comfortable experience. They are like friends or 2nd family to me. I appreciate them so much. I believe this place is the best doctors care I have received since living in San Francisco for the past 9 years. Thank you so much for always keeping my health and well-being in your best interest.
They do not accept self-pay and do not accept patients without insurance.
