Thy did an incredible job on my manicure and waxing session. She’s professional and makes you feel completely at ease. The results were beautiful and clean.

DO NOT GO FOR GEL MANICURES! First time here and multiple finger nails were peeling within 8 days so I called them and gave them a chance to fix it. When I went in, they said gel only lasts 7 days and after 7 days they charge to fix the nail. They said something about water causing it to peel (I mean… I take the same number of showers as the average person). Since it’s the 8th day, they told me it’s going to be $5 per nail to fix their botched gel manicure. So, get this - I originally paid $36 plus $7 tip for the gel manicure. NOW I have to pay more than the original price if SF NAILS were to fix the nails, within just a week of the original service. Cmon guys, as someone who gets their nails done every month I know that good gel manicure lasts 3 weeks. Do right by your clients and fix the few nails, and have yourselves a happy repeat customer - they lost a customer right here in their neighborhood. Unfortunately, afterwards I found out through other reviews that their gel manicures have been peeling for others too which is not cool. That said, I am all for giving businesses second chances if they remedy the situation, so happy to chat with the owner if they reach out.

Making an appointment was easy. I went on a Tuesday afternoon and was the only guest in the shop for most of my appointment. They were very patient with me and my very thin/sensitive nails. I can be very picky and they took any feedback I gave with a smile. I was there for about 1.5hrs for a pedicure and dip removal/reapplication. Price was very fair.

Was my first time here because I had an unexpected trip and my usual nail place in my neighborhood was booked. I’m very picky about my nails and was happy with the result here at SF Nail Bar. I had made a booking for gel mani and pedi with someone named Jenny, but she never made it to the appointment and got Amy instead—I’d definitely book her again. I wanted shorter nails because I’d be hauling luggage, but she managed to get them pointed anyway, and asked me many times during the mani if I was okay with her work. Super professional and efficient, and they offer all kinds of drinks and snacks ;) The price is also about $80 cheaper than my usual salon, which is a great value. Highly recommend.

Got a gel manicure and regular pedicure yesterday. My gel manicure is literally peeling off after one day. The actual experience wasn't that great. I asked for a design and they confirmed they could do it. my nail tech started to do the design and it was not turning out like i wanted. I asked for just a solid color instead. The pedicure is a weird set up and can be a bit uncomfortable and not relaxing. I would not return.
